My girls haven't played softball for quite some time now, but one thing that has changed is the technology used in My Rawlings Storm is the lightest one I have ever handled, so I can get around the ball faster, and I have a better chance of hitting the ball with its long barrel. I bought this bat for my granddaughter when she left her bat at the park and needed a new one for the All Star Tournament season. It's great that this bat fits her and she hits like a champ with it as she's 10 and on the smaller side. Due to the light weight, it offers a pretty quick swing and nice control of the bat. It is heavy. Moreover, when the bat connects with the ball, the sweet spot ensures that "pop" when hitting the It's approved by all major sports, which is definitely an advantage. And aesthetically, the silver and orange color scheme along with splashes of blue give off a more serious vibe. Overall, I'd say this bat is a solid pick.
