She should probably be swinging a 32" bat if she is in early high school. In high school, my daughter threw a 32". She's about the same size as me, and she swings a 33" bat in college.

This was purchased for my daughter, who is ten years old. Before this, who had a ghost bat? This bat had the same amount of pop as the previous one, but it was more balanced, allowing her to swing it more quickly.
It swings like a lighter bat, but it has a lot more pop. The best way to describe it is as a well-balanced power bat. With only a slight heavier feel, Daughter went from a drop 11 to a drop 9 in this. The balance makes it superior to the Ghost. With this bat, she's very close to hitting a home run. I purchased a 33" - Out of the over 20 bats that were demoed, she chose her favorite.
After much consideration and comparison, I chose the Louisville LXT X20. I bought this for my 8-year-old softball player, and I've noticed a significant improvement in her hitting ability. The anti- Because her old bat was vibrating badly, she wasn't able to swing at full power with it. This bat has a lot of pop to it. Her hits were increased by at least 30 feet. It will take about 120 hits to break in, but this can be done with tee work and soft toss. At the plate, the bat gave me a lot more confidence.
