This is not a ball that can be used for pitching practice. Although the ball can be used as a go-to ball for finger positioning, it is not well-made. The cover is loosely attached to the ball, it appears to be made of synthetic material, and the painted finger positions will not withstand any contact with the ground. It's useful as a pitching reference, but it shouldn't be used to throw pitches. It's not something I'd purchase again!.

The color literally rubbed off the first pitch, the ball was built cheaply, and there was no instruction on what each finger placement was for other than the paint.

I bought this product to teach my daughter and nieces where to place their fingers on the ball to throw different types of pitches in fastpitch softball, and it also comes with a manual that shows all the different pitches you can throw in fastpitch softball

I was sold a ball that had already been opened. The plastic case had already been cut open, and there was no instruction manual.

It appears to be a big hit with my 11-year-old. I only wish this ball was available in a 12" size. This isn't going to hold up to being tossed around a lot. It's a great way to teach finger placement.
