Questions & Answers
For a variety of reasons, you should avoid spiking it in a goalbox.
1- It would rip up the goalbox, which is not permitted.
2- It will not work if you are on turf.
3- Spikes can become dislodged, and a well-maintained spike set can be difficult to find. The chain in the bottom weights enough to limit sway in the wind and drops missed shots that hit the black portion of the net.br>A struck ball near the spike would eventually rip it out of the ground, which would be less than ideal to reset all the time. br>br>We've been using ours for two years and it's still going strong. It's possible that this is the best soccer training product ever created.
It's not a tent material; instead, it's a heavy mesh net with wind holes and the ability to be used in the rain and other weather conditions. We train keepers and have run the ball machine at 90 miles per hour and shot on it with no problems. I'm not sure what the other response is about mentioning the velcro piece came off, because this item has no velcro at all.
Yes, it was.
That's correct. This is a lovely, well-made bag.

This item is acceptable; however, it could be better. The first time I used it, I fired a shot straight on from about 25 yards out (not particularly hard), and it directly hit the left side post clip, breaking it. Fortunately, each side has two post clips, but now I have to tie the strap around the post (not a big deal). I would expect the plastic clips to withstand more than one shot for the price ($300) (especially when used within the range of normal use; I wasn't throwing a ball at it point blank). In any case, for the price, I'd expect metal clips to be used to avoid this problem. Although the concept and design are excellent, the clips are unquestionably a flaw. br>br>Benefits: br>br> Carrying bag, great design, weighted at the bottom with metal chains, easy to set up and take downbr>Con: With normal use, I expect materials to break faster than expected.
It will prevent any shot from hitting the net and dropping the ball a few feet in front of the goal. If you're trying to teach strikers how to finish second chances, this shot is a good place to start. Because of the inelastic properties of the net, the rebound is non-existent with a blocker. However, if you're looking for a one-of-a-kind present It's a fantastic tool to have a one-and-done finishing drill. It's a steep price to pay, but it's one you won't regret in the long run. br>br>The setup is also worth noting. It takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. It takes about 10 minutes to set up on your own, and that's assuming you know what you're doing. I'm six feet tall and have a system in place, but if you're shorter and don't have hops, you might want to bring a mini ladder or stool out to help you get this set up.
After a few years as a soccer coach, I decided to start my own private soccer training sessions. I needed someone or something to stop the shots on goals because my sessions were small and private. and, voila, SKLZ Goalshot was the solution. I'm 6'3" and can easily reach over the crossbar to set this up, but if you're shorter, attaching the crossbar may be difficult. Aside from that, high-quality content entices players to take on the challenge and encourages my players to aim for the corners.
I bought one for my son to use in his training. He enjoys working with it, and it has made him more aware of the importance of taking shots in tight spaces. It's usually simple to set up and take down. To reach the crossbar, all I need is a stool, and both processes take no more than a few minutes. And mine came with a convenient carrying bag. We get a lot of use out of it, so it was well worth the money.
This target net is a big hit with my son! I only wish the corner targets were a little smaller to make target practice a little more difficult, and I still need to figure out how to get this set up. There appears to be an excessive amount of space between the bottom of the net and the ground. I'll have to tweak it a bit, but overall, it's a good product that I'd recommend. We're going to use it at practices with our entire team!.
It's fairly simple to erect and deconstruct. br>br>It also quickly helped my son realize the advantages of shooting the ball into the corner.
This is an excellent item. It was something my son wanted for his soccer team to help them improve their shooting skills. They've been using it on a weekly basis. The only issue I have with it is that the bag's carry strap came undone on one end the second time he used it. It appears to have been improperly sewn on. I decided not to return it because it is a large package and it is only the strap for the carry bag; it has no bearing on the actual product's performance (except when trying to carry it!). ) I'm going to have it sewn back on by a local shoe repairman who has previously repaired other bags for me. This is a product that I would recommend.
I was worried about the price, but it's a fantastic deal. Single-handedly erecting and dismantling handedly. Fits perfectly in the goal frame. Materials that are both durable and long-lasting. Target areas that are the right size for realistic shooting practice.
