I ordered the XL, which are approximately 7 1/4" tall across the middle, almost 8" tall from the highest to lowest points, and not quite 4" wide at the widest point. That appears to be the same as the large size they list. They're quite small. They look like they'd be a good fit for my nieces. Adults are not permitted to participate.
My daughter is ten years old and stands at a height of four feet and ten inches. I placed an order for her in Medium. The following is listed on the packaging tag: Soccer Shin Pads for Adults, Youths, and Children (M).
Adults will benefit from the larger size.
I bought a small with chicken legs for my 8-year-old, but they're quite large. He hasn't been able to put them on yet.

I do a lot of research before buying shin guards for my daughter. I liked having the ankle protection that most youth shin guards provide when she first started. However, as she grew older and more competitive, I wanted to get her some slide ins so she could have more comfort and ankle movement. I had been wearing Dash Sport shin guards, but she had outgrown them and they were no longer available in Youth Medium. They also had itchy straps, which she complained about when she sweated, so I decided it was time to try some new brands. She is nine years old, but she is quite tall for her age (just under five feet), so she required Youth Large. I ordered four different brands with slide-in options, and after trying them on, we decided on these. They are the perfect fit for her and provide excellent protection and coverage as a midfielder and goalkeeper. I've already washed and dried the mesh sleeves a few times. So far, there have been no snags or tears, and the shin guards have performed admirably. As youth grow older, I strongly advise them to use these. My daughter claims they are very comfortable, don't itch, and don't trap sweat like some other brands do.
Because my 6-year-old didn't like the previous guards (also shown in photos) because of the elastic bands, we're going to try sleeves. At 6 inches in length, these are small. She is just under 4ft tall, and her shin is about 8 inches long, so 3 inches is a little shorter than her previous ones, but I think they'll be fine. When I bought these, there was no size information anywhere (no 7th picture, as the description suggests), so I'm attaching a photo of the package for reference.
My son, who is eight years old, is ecstatic! His previous pair irritated him and made him feel very uneasy. I ordered the Medium for him because he is 8 years old and they fit him perfectly!br>The best part about these shin guards is that there are no uncomfortable straps digging into your legs! These have exceeded my expectations! I would strongly suggest it!.
These aren't adult sizes in any way. The small one is suitable for a child of approximately six years of age. My son is ten years old and stands less than four feet six inches tall, so the Small size only covers about half of what it should. He is definitely a Large, but he isn't particularly tall. Take a look at the credit card next to it and see if you can figure it out.
We've tried a lot of shin guards over the years, and these are the first ones that my kids like, despite the fact that they've always complained about their shin guards and only wear them when absolutely necessary. I've even experimented with other brands' versions of this style. This year, none of my boys have expressed any dissatisfaction with the shin guards. They always say the exact opposite, that they are very comfortable. The sleeve is well-made, the guard provides just enough coverage and comfort, and the price is unbeatable. We won't use any other type of shin guard in the future. br>My ten-year-old, who is tall for his age, wears a large, while my eight-year-old, who is small for his age, wears a medium but could squeeze into a small if necessary, and my five-year-old, who is average height, wears a small.
These shin guards are very nice. The plastic guard is held in place by a sleeve that slides down over it. Because they don't sit directly on the leg, it's a plus. My son doesn't get too hot because the sleeve is made of a breathable material. The only drawback is that the sleeve that holds the guard in place isn't very stretchy, so it won't stay in place without socks. It isn't snug enough on my son's legs to keep them in place. But they stay put when he wears his soccer socks, so they're good value for money.
br>br>Overall, it's a great product for the money; my favorite feature is the small bag in the sleeve for the shin pad; it keeps the shin pad from sliding across my shins. Recommended by br>br>.
sock! These shin guards are a big hit with my son. My son had been riding in a stirrup for a long time. He wore shin guards of the type and complained about his feet and ankles hurting all the time. We switched to these shin guards after finding that changing cleat sizes and brands made no difference. The need to wear two socks to keep his legs from being chafed by the old style shin guards is no longer necessary, as is the unnecessary stress on his feet and ankles. I only wish they were a little longer for more coverage, but that's just me being a protective mom.
