Sizing for shinpads is determined by height rather than age, according to Nike. Medium heights range from 5'3" to 5'7", while large heights range from 5'7" to 5'11". Please keep in mind that these are minimal guards and have been designed to be small.
No, they are not designed for children under the age of four.
No way!

I purchased an Adult XS for my ten-year-old (who stands at 4'9"). My two-year-old was able to wear them because they were within the height guidelines for this size. See how much smaller these "adult" shin guards are in comparison to my 7-year-old son's youth shin guards in the photo. If you're ordering for a taller adult, you should definitely size up!.
I'm placing an order for my 15-year-old son. Only my cat would fit in the recommended size.
The M was exactly what I needed. They fit perfectly under his knee-high soccer sock, which he adores. Calf straps are not included. There's no clumsy foot strap to get in the way.
My son has found these to be a lifesaver! After practice and games, he used to get terrible rashes on his shins. We decided to give it a shot after one of his friends introduced him to these types of guards. Because they're not as rigid as traditional shin guards, they'll easily conform to your shin if they're a little big. He stands at 11 feet 5 inches tall and weighs around 120 pounds. Adult sizes were ordered, and they turned out to be excellent.
These were purchased as a soccer gift for my daughter. They are extremely comfortable for her and provide the necessary protection. And I'm not lying when I say that everyone adores them. They were so appealing to the dog that he devoured them. I had to go out and buy a second pair. We're just hoping he's not a fan of those two as well.
These are a hit with my 10-year-old son. He plays competitive soccer and is tired of wearing shin guards because he has to rush from one game to the next. It's so much easier to just pull these out of the socks rather than having to remove them completely. However, I would recommend ordering a larger quantity than you think you'll need. My son is a typical 10-year-old size, so we ordered an adult size L because the youth sizes don't cover his shins enough.
Simple shin guards that get the job done. I've spent my entire life playing soccer at a high level and have never seen the need to spend a lot of money on shin guards. They're curved just right for your leg, and I'm 5'6" and they fit perfectly.
Does exactly what I needed for my 7-year-old daughter. Low-key and unobtrusive shin guards that are obtrusive but provide adequate protection for children of this age Not cheap, but I didn't mind because I needed them right away.
