Every season, we go through a couple of pairs. We chose these goalie gloves after researching various options because the padding is a little thicker, they have finger support, the price is reasonable, and my daughter liked the color/pattern. br>br>Another similar pair that my daughter wears is the Adidas Ace 15, which costs around $45, as opposed to the $29 Coodoo gloves. Both the Coodoo and the Adidas were a perfect fit for her hand, with plenty of room to spare. Both have a good wrist wrap and are true to size. br>br>She prefers the Coodoo gloves' palm padding, which she claims is thicker and provides a better grip in wet conditions. She's used the gloves in both rainy games and wet ground practices, and she's been pleased with their performance. To avoid injury, we require finger support. The Coodoo gloves have a good amount of support. Making the supports longer, according to my daughter, is an area where they could improve. She claims they provide more comfort during fingertip stops when they run the entire length of the finger and across the back of the hand. In terms of overall durability, the Adidas have lasted her for the majority of the season, and we expect the Coodoos to do the same. Finally, my daughter wears green in goal, and she has often felt that the green gloves available on the market are a little boyish. She was enamored with the Coodoo green leopard print pattern, and I must say that her hands are easily visible while she is playing! We'd suggest these gloves because of their high quality and low price - Why should you shell out more money? This is fantastic!.
My 11-year-old daughter has a very small stature. They were a little tight around her wrists. The hand part fits perfectly, but getting them on is a major challenge, especially if you're sweating. A large-framed child would not be able to wear these.
They are outstanding. I really liked the case that came with it. It didn't have a strange chemical smell to it. The stitching appears to be of good quality. The padding was soft and pleasant to the touch. It appears to be lightweight. My son didn't mind that they were pink because they didn't have a lot of colors. The leopard print was appealing to him. I'm hoping for a long life from them.
These gloves were purchased for my youngest daughter, who has decided that she wants to be a keeper and show her love for cheetahs at the same time. They fit her well and have held up well through the wear and tear of a fall season. The padding is adequate, but it does not provide enough flexibility for catching and throwing the ball.
The girls compete to see who will be the keeper and wear these gloves. They're fantastic!.
It's difficult to find youth gloves in more "girly" colors, but these were perfect for my daughter. We'll see how they hold up for the spring season; right now, she's just doing training with them, and they seem to be working well.
