It's comfortable, but it's dangerously unprotected
3/5

I bought these after reading that they are made of a gel that hardens on impact, which is true to some extent, but they do not harden like a traditional plastic shin guard. When a guy's cleat caught my shin, I was indoor friendly. Only when I'm messing around on a field with my friends will I put these on. I usually don't wear shin guards in situations like this. I'll stick to plastic for competitive or even friendly matches.

It's useful for a variety of purposes besides soccer
5/5

These were purchased to protect my shins from my mountain biking pedals. They're very light and airy, which I like. So far, they've done a good job of protecting my shins.

It performs its function
5/5

I purchased these for mountain biking after having a couple of spiked pedals slam into my shins on quick dismounts. I'm 70 years old, and I don't require any more scars. The only two drawbacks I can think of are purely practical rather than performance-related. When the temperature rises above 80 degrees, they become hot, but so does the rest of me. Second, because of the tight fit, they take a little effort to remove. Having said that, it's the tight fit that keeps them in place for the duration of the multi-day event. rides lasting an hour Without a doubt, I would recommend them.

The best shin guards on the market
5/5

These, according to my daughter, are the best shin guards she's ever worn. They are very comfortable, easy to put on, and stay in place. We've tried both stirrup (cheaper adidas and nike) and slip-in (adidas ghost pro) shin guards in the past, and while they worked, there were always issues: rubbing/chaffing with the stirrups, or the guard moving to uncomfortable places on the slip-ins. The G- The forms do not move and remain in place. They also conform to the individual's shins very well because they are so flexible. Oh, and despite their softness, they do their job and protect the legs when kicked. Next, I'm planning on getting her goalkeeping pants and shirt. br>The sizing guide was helpful in ensuring that we ordered the correct size for her, and they fit perfectly. This pair of shin guards is well worth the money.

Approved for a ten-year-old club and recreational soccer player
5/5

These were purchased for my ten-year-old daughter, who participates in Rec and Club sports. She isn't particularly tall, standing at 4'11", but the Adult Medium was the ideal fit for her. As a coach, I was initially skeptical that these would provide her with the necessary protection. She claims she doesn't feel like she's wearing anything after she puts them on. She has already taken a few kicks, but her shins are unblemished. Additionally, I purchased the G- Form ankle guards as well, because I believe her ankles, as competitive as she is, require protection. br>The only disadvantage is that they must be removed. It takes a while to take them off after wearing them for about 2 hours. She's tried turning them to the side, but it appears that slowly working them down is the best option. br>She wears these next to her skin, with socks on top.

First impressions are extremely important
5/5

With their elegant packaging, these shin guards make a good first impression. I'm just under 6' tall and weigh 170 pounds, so the Large size is perfect for me. I'm going to try wearing them backwards for ball hockey as well as wearing them normally for indoor soccer. I use the Mylec MK5 15-inch helmet for hockey. Although INCH SHIN PADS are excellent, they only protect the front and sides of my legs. It's not enjoyable to take a hard shot off the back of your leg. The bruise in this picture has been there for ten days. br>br>2 MONTH UPDATE - Although you can wear them backwards to protect your calf muscles, I was concerned that doing so would cause them to stretch out of shape and no longer fit as well when worn normally. In order to play ball hockey, I now wear the Nike Adult Mercurial Lite SuperLock Soccer Shin Guards on the back of my legs. br>br>However, the G- br>br>br>br>br>br>b Form Pro- S Elite Shin Guards are ideal for indoor soccer, where the majority of players do not use shin guards. You still get good protection, but if you make shin-to-shin contact, you won't injure someone's bare leg like you might if you were wearing a hard, plastic shin guard like the Adidas X-Treme. Pros.

They stay put and are extremely comfortable
4/5

The warehouse appears to have labeled the size incorrectly. Someone stuck a size XL sticker on top of a size L sticker. The word "Large" is prominently displayed on the box. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> The item was returned to be replaced. Once again, Amazon delivered the wrong size. Exactly the same - In the box, there was a large shin guard clearly labeled "Large" with a sticker on it that said "XL. " This time, we're in a different location. br>br>Update: I took them out for a 90-minute ride and they didn't move at all. I was worried they would slide up or fall down, but they didn't. I can't comment on the security (at this time).

Stitches that have been removed
3/5

My son, a Varsity and Division 1 U17 soccer player, swears by his shinguards because they "feel like a sock" and don't move. I bought these shinguards in July and he started wearing them in late August; since then, the lower part of the shinguards has been unstitching, and we discovered today (11/11/19) that it has also begun to unstitch on the side; so the idea, comfort, and protection are good, but I believe it will not last a season if it has been tearing in less than three months. Still like the product, but it needs to improve its durability because it is far from inexpensive; I could easily find Name brands on Amazon for under $20.
