Questions & Answers
I have one in stock, so it depends on the seller.
It's better than nothing, but it's made of a delicate material. More designed for soccer players to aid with head-to-head or head-to-turf contact; not sure about baseball-to-head contact.
My son is 16 years old, weighs 160 pounds, and stands 5'7" tall. He ordered a Sm/Med, which fits perfectly but is a little uncomfortable at first. But give it a few games and you'll be fine; he's had three concussions, so it's advised that he wears the helmet.
No way, I only have the full90 version, and it's fantastic. The three, in my opinion, are simply different protection options.

My ten-year-old son has had two minor concussions as a result of his participation in sports. We came across this headgear and decided to try it out based on the reviews and price. He is a member of a travel soccer team that is known for its rough play. During games, he and his parents felt more secure wearing this headgear. It didn't bother him at all, and it was extremely light. Because he has dark hair, it blended in well with his head and didn't stand out. Now it's on to basketball, where he'll undoubtedly require it once more!.
This season, his flag football team's coach advised him to wear head protection. The kids are crashing into the walls, the floor, and each other as we play indoors. The full head cap was worn by some of the other kids, but my son does not like his head covered, so we tried this. He uses it for flag football and soccer, but it's not quite right for baseball. In soccer, he is a goalkeeper, and in football, he is a tight end. The disadvantages are as follows: I can't wash his head because he sweats a lot. However, the benefits of protecting his head outweigh the drawbacks. I'm a teacher and a parent who spends a lot of time around sports, so I'm not sure why more parents don't take these simple steps to protect their children.
My 9-year-old son had his second concussion a few months ago, and it was suggested that we get some head gear like this to help reduce the chances of him getting another one. He likes how it fits, feels, and looks, and it gives him a lot of confidence in his ability to return to the field. He doesn't feel self-conscious about wearing it because it isn't too bulky.
I had to get it for my grandson after he suffered a concussion during a soccer game, and he loves it. It's a good fit, it's light, and it doesn't detract from his game.
After seeing it in a magazine, my 8-year-old son requested some headgear, and I was surprised by how small and light it is. I measured his head and found that he fit just inside the sm/med size range. It fits him perfectly; he wore it for three games in a tournament over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed himself. His teammates, coaches, and other players didn't seem to mind that he was wearing it. Indeed, I believe that at least a few of them will buy one. I'm happy to report that he never got into a fight with anyone, so I can't comment on its effectiveness. By the way it's built, it appears to be designed to soften the blow. He did a few headers and maintained good control.
For the past few years, my 14-year-old daughter has been wearing one of these. Because the velcro had worn out, I had no choice but to replace it. She wouldn't be playing soccer if it weren't for this headgear, as she had already suffered two concussions by the age of 11. Her soccer career has been saved as a result of this.
It gets the job done.
Cons- She struggles to keep it on at times. It slips off, and she has to fiddle with it to get it back into place. With all the Velcro straps in the back, it's a bit cumbersome, but I suppose that's how you'd design it otherwise.
Pros- From the stands, it appears to be a headband.
Without some kind of head protection, I wouldn't be able to play. We even needed a letter from the state athletic association to allow her to wear the uniform during state playoffs. Rival teams and fans mocked and mocked the full helmet, as one might expect. The Full 90 Performance gear now enables her to play with protection while remaining unrestrictive and fashionable. It comes highly recommended!.
