With four children, I've purchased nearly every soccer sock available. I've finally discovered a few that my children enjoy. They're not too thick, the kids don't break a sweat putting them on, and they stay up without feeling like a tourniquet. I originally purchased a size Small for my 8-year-old daughter. old (due to his large feet), but he traded them in for Medium. His ideal size, in my opinion, is somewhere in the middle of the two. He is 5 feet tall and wears a size 5 shoe. br>br>As a point of comparison, my children are recreational soccer players. The league is only for fun.

These appear to be of very high quality. They do, however, have a large size. A medium, according to the size chart, corresponds to youth shoe sizes 4Y-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX My daughter wears a youth shoe size 5 and the size 6 was far too big for her. I'm a size 8 women's shoe, and they were a little big on me as well (chart says 5-). Women receive a rating of five.

My son is three years old and is playing soccer for the first time, so I'm a novice when it comes to purchasing soccer equipment. These socks appear to be of good quality, but the sizing does not fit us well. They're really wide (see photo) and a little long on his foot. The calf portion fits his calf width and stays in place, but I have to fold them down at the top otherwise they'd be way above his knee (he's 3'4"). My son is an 11-year-old toddler/little kid, and his feet are definitely big for his age, but he fits into the XS size. My other complaint is that these are very thickly padded through the foot, which adds a lot of bulk inside the shoe; he doesn't seem bothered by it, but I'm concerned that it will affect the fit of his cleats.

These were purchased for my 4-year-old son to play soccer in (toddler size 8 shoe). I expected it to be a little big in the toe area because of her tiny feet. Maintain a good grip on the shin guards.

These are the best soccer socks my boys have ever had in all of their years of youth soccer. They're a little more stretchy than most, but they still hold their shape. They're much softer and more comfortable than the others we've tried (like a real sock). These socks are slightly thicker than other mesh-based socks. Socks of this type, but not overly thick. I'm not sure what socks we liked better because they were part of a school team uniform. We've only had these for one season, so I can't comment on how well they've held up, but if they do, I'll definitely buy more.

They're snug and compressive, but not excessively so. The fact that they stay up where they're supposed to is the most important thing to me. All day.
