It's a total embarrassment. Within a week of receiving it, it loses its resistance. I've never written a review before, but I feel compelled to do so because I can't even complete a 4-yard pass with it. When you play a ball against the net, the hooks come undone. Given that this product costs over $100, I had hoped for more. Please keep looking; this isn't the internet for you. The mounts make no difference; regardless of how fast you play the ball against the net, the ball never gets more than 3 yards back to you.

Love it! This is an excellent training tool! We use it in the backyard and with my daughter's U12 soccer team for some drills
4/5

It works just like the Sklz videos say it should. A size 1 soccer ball is ideal for really improving ball handling skills, but a size 5 will also suffice. br>br>In response to some of the negative comments about the net, the issue is the stitching, not the materials used to make it. The fundamental materials are adequate. Sewing the net and straps together isn't sufficient. Several strap to net stitches tore out easily with moderate use by my 10-year-old daughter, even before it was put to much use in team practice, so I used my sewing machine to add proper bar tacks to all straps, as well as a single stitch around the edges of the nets. To make it more rugged, it should be double or triple stitched. Guys, I'm a 51-year-old self-taught sewer who began sewing homemade backpacking gear in my late 30s after learning how to do so on the internet. It can be done by anyone! It's not that difficult to pick up. If I didn't have to fix the stitching on the Quickster, I'd give it 5 stars. br>br>Another tip is to use sand bags to keep the net secure while in use. Even after watering my yard, I couldn't get the stakes far enough in the ground, so I made sand bags out of two legs of men's denim jeans that I detach and close after filling. Each of them is 16 pounds. They keep the net in good shape, allowing for a lot of rebounding energy and making it much easier to move around, especially during team practice.

Purchase is not recommended

Although the product's concept is excellent, the materials used are of poor quality. Ours lasted just over a month before the netting began to break and large holes appeared. When this started happening, my son only used it lightly a few times. We were promised a refund by the company, which we have yet to receive (after two weeks). It'll be here any day now. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> The company sent us a new Rebounder instead of the promised refund. We don't want another potentially defective Rebounder; instead, we'd like our money back so that our son can choose a different birthday present. We've sent another email to the SKLZ customer service department, and we're waiting to hear back.

If staked down, it works great on grass; otherwise, it will move around
5/5

We bought an unopened box that didn't come with any instructions. It was a little difficult to put together at first, but with the help of the pictures, I was able to figure it out. If staked down, it works great on grass, but if not, it moves around and wastes energy returning the ball. We went to Home Depot and bought some inexpensive sandbags and play sand for the girls to use on the concrete. In order for it to work consistently, it must be held down in either case.

I like how portable it is; I've used it a lot for personal reasons
3/5

It's a pleasant way to unwind. I like how portable it is, and I've used it a lot for self-practice. To be honest, there are a lot of other things you can do to bounce your ball back and save $100. I used to self-pass my ball when I was in high school by using a tire or a bench. You could also use a large brick or wall, which would work just as well (in fact, these solid diy items worked better for a kick back). The other side of the kickback allows you to volley, which is impossible with a brick or tire. So, in essence, I paid $100 for a volley net that functions satisfactorily.

This does not sit well with me

This is a disappointment; I purchased it in November but only set it up in May, and it's already broken.

Longevity This was purchased over two years ago and has held up well - For those years, the weather ranged from 15 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and the equipment was constantly used
5/5

Our sons are 14 years old. 12 and have had no problems using this net for the past two years. It's not perfect, so some'rebound' is lost, but the boys make up for it by kicking harder. Just buy more anchors, in my opinion. To keep it in place, I simply bought some cheap metal ones. It does include some fairly sturdy plastic anchors, though. It's well worth the money, and we'll be purchasing a second one for our daughters. I suggest to the company that the bottom supports be angled toward the ground in some way to aid anchoring. This is an excellent item.

I'm glad I paid the extra money for SKLZ over the cheaper alternatives
5/5

the knock-on effect off-brands with a mixed bag of reviews! This was a present for my daughter's birthday, and she loved it. She loves it, and it's holding up well. It's also more versatile and useful than a static goal for when you want to practice kicking goals on your own. It's extremely well-made. To put together, it's well-designed and simple. During the set-up, we made a mistake. My daughter, on the other hand, figured it out and fixed it herself. I gave it a 4 for portability because I wouldn't want to take it apart and put it back together all the time, but you could if you needed to. It comes with a well-made string bag to hold all of the parts, as well as four anchors to keep it in place, though we haven't used them yet. We got the 4'x6' one, which is perfect for my tall 10-year-old. I highly recommend it (and she specifically requested that I leave a review!).
