I have both, and the black is far superior. So far, there hasn't been any evidence of rust. My main gripe is that the nets are extremely frail. They are prone to tearing. I used shoestring to re-enforce them, and it worked perfectly.
It only folds down, but it's still 10 feet long.

I was desperate for a goal to play with my son outside. This has proven to be a good investment. I've left it outside in the rain, and it's still looking great and holding up well. The metal tubing moves a little when kicked into, even by a 5-year-old, but that's to be expected given its light weight. It's nice to be able to move the whole thing without having to collapse or fold it, which I can do quite easily. We use it frequently, and the color of the net is appealing because it stands out well. It is truly unbeatable in terms of price.
It's a good little net for the price. My seven-year-old daughter is a budding soccer player who requested a practice net for the backyard. The 5' x 10' net is small enough to be unobtrusive in the back yard, but large enough to provide her with both a realistic shooting target and a goal to defend. br>br>As long as you know how to count to four, putting it together was simple. From the time I opened the box to her scoring goals, it took me about ten minutes.
We received this item with a defective rod that had a kink in the end, preventing the other rod from sliding inside and clicking. I called customer service, who was pleasant and offered to replace it; however, I was attempting to repair it at the time, and after two hits with a hummer and a screwdriver, I was able to repair the indented rod and it worked. As a result, I didn't send it back. The assembly is simple. I went with the larger size of 5". It is simple to fold.
Our grandsons were enthralled by it. It is not particularly sturdy, but if properly cared for, it will last a long time, and the size is ideal (5 feet by 10 feet). They're having a good time, and that's all that matters. This would make an excellent Christmas present.
So the net I got isn't five feet tall. It's closer to 4' in length. What's going on here? I would have gone for the 6x12 net if I had known that. It's already assembled, and the box is in the recycling bin, so there's no way to exchange it now.
able to deal with adults Kicks for kids. We all enjoy it, and we may buy another one in the future to play family football scrambles.
It is a hit with my son!.
