I like the cup I think it is durable and will keep me safe for In general, the compression shorts seem comfortable and fit as they should, but when you attach a cup to the shorts, the cup is made nearly useless since it does not cover you adequately every time you move. The only protection you have crouching down is basically nothing.

As it turns out, there were many reviews that describe the same problem I am having. I probably should have read them more carefully before ordering. Briefly, the shorts fit well and the cup should fit snugly. HOWEVER, the pocket where the cup sits is really only there to place the cup for protection when you are standing still. For karate sparring I bought it, but if I move, it moves out of place and is therefore absolutely useless. As soon as I find something else, I will search for it.

In order to replace an older pair of compression shorts from shock doctor, I purchased two of these. The old ones are my favorite! I don't even know what to say! Whenever you move about, the cup does not stay in place. Instead, it squishes your "equipment" between the hard surface of the cup and either your own legs or the ground. could only wear them for 15 minutes in a jiu jitsu class before I couldn't take the pain any longer. For the past 2 days, I've been sore in my gentlemen bits because of these shorts - Even if I had no protection, it would have been worse.
