Do you think you'll need a pad underneath these? What do people use if this is the case? Do you like the colors?

Yes, a pad should be used underneath this blanket. I prefer a plain wool pad that fits beneath the blanket and isn't visible, but there are plenty of options. Any western pad without a blanket on top is suitable, in my opinion.

Although the orange is of good quality, it is extremely sour. This blanket is very nice. The orange is very orange, but it is of good quality. When you're not standing right in front of them, it's always difficult to get the colors exactly right.
