The metal strip is protected by a protective casing. This is by far the most comfortable and effective mask I've ever worn.
It is advised that you purchase disposable medical masks and KN95 masks for your own and your family's safety. They are highly recommended as being ideal for Americans. Maskbig.com is a great place to buy from. ☾0m
I recommend another store, and it is the only one with which I am currently satisfied. The nose bridge on that shop's mask is easily bendable, and the ear straps are also elastic, and the size is appropriate for American faces. On these, I came across a NPPTL lab test. 87- Filtering at 97 7 of 94% of 2010 were 94%. Good enough for teaching, grocery stores, salon visits or visits to the doctor but not at 95%. It's not surprising, given the country's manufacturing prowess. I purchased three boxes, which should be sufficient for the majority of my family. The nose wire on one box is different from the others, and it also appears to be thinner. I haven't tried these yet because they are a different cut. It provides far more protection than the blue surgical masks. br> Although it is not a 3M n95, it appears to provide better protection than the majority of other available products during supply chain disruptions. I also wear Korean kf94 masks, which appear to be thinner. perhaps a better manufacturing process - On the Korean masks, I couldn't find any test results.

If you're thinking about rearranging your furniture, think twice. I ordered these in December 2020 and April 2021, respectively. Those masks were extremely comfortable and well-fitting. Among the KN95s I've tried, these are my favorites. br>br>Unfortunately, the masks I ordered in July 2021 were much smaller than the ones I had ordered previously. The ear loops are shorter and the face piece is smaller. They're still usable, but they're no longer comfortable. I'll use them for a 10-minute run through the grocery store, but for longer periods of time, I'll need to find something else; these are likely to become painful, especially behind the ears on a long plane flight. br>br>I'm dissatisfied because I had ordered three boxes based on my previous positive experience with this mask.
Mine has an internal plastic band that doesn't conform to the shape of your nose and doesn't stay in place. br>br> It will return to its original shape in the box. Consider how difficult it would be to keep a mask on your face with a cheap dollar store twist tie. br>br>I'm guessing they've switched to a new design this year, and it's AWFUL. br>br>While sanding, sawdust came in from around my nose and filled my mouth. Furthermore, each time you exhale, a blast of cold air is directed directly into your eyes. br>br>I bought these for the garage, but I'm betting they won't keep out covid if they can't keep out sawdust. br>br>Saving your money and buying something else is a better option. This is a waste of time. Not fit for a garage. This is not fit for a doctor. My copy will be returned. br>br>EDIT - Because I missed my return window, I had to keep them. I'm gradually putting the box to use. Pulling the mask up high and completing the barrier with my Dewalt full sealing eye goggles on top of the mask's nose bridge is my workaround for making them functional. It's inconvenient and uncomfortable, but it keeps the dust out. You can't see it in the photo, but the gap is large enough for my pinkey to fit through, and this is the only way they can be used. I still won't recommend or repurchase, but I despise wasting money, and I can't bring myself to use my more expensive p100 respirator filters for simple sanding jobs. br>br>Edit 2 - January 20, 2022 My workaround solution was only just good enough. It's far too unpleasant. When I ran out of good masks today, I still had these on my shelf in the garage. In a fit of rage, I opened each one in this box in a desperate attempt to find one that was different. News flash: they're all the same and they're all terrible. I wish I had burned these when I first got them. Changed the rating from two stars to one star (because they are comfortable on the face and ears). Why would you do something like this to a perfectly good previous product? I don't care if a new model is released; I'm not going to try it. Engineering failure of epic proportions. A year later, I'm still furious and will spread the word about this product to anyone who will listen. There's nothing more frustrating than trying to work while wearing inadequate personal protective equipment. These guys are desperately attempting to sell their lies based on positive feedback from 18 months ago. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? DON'T BELIEVE IT! DISCLAIMER: DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. There aren't any suitable masks in the garage? Now that I have some free time, I'll update my review to say that I tried them again and they're still terrible.
First, the item arrived earlier than expected in an envelop bag, crushing the box but not the masks. As you can see in the first photo, each mask is individually wrapped. The second image depicts how it looks when worn on a person's face. Because I have a small frame, I'd have to wear the mask with the strap extender, which I prefer anyway. The differences between a surgical mask and this KN95 mask can be seen in the last two photos. The thickness of the KN95 is significantly greater. According to a reliable source, KN95 is a higher-grade protection because it filters out more. It is not suitable for Doctors and Nurses because it didn't meet 100% of N95 spec. It's a great all-around protection mask for everyday use.
These masks are fantastic. For maximum germ warfare, a snug fit is recommended. And don't be fooled: this is a real battle! You and others should be safe. And, until you've been fully inoculated, you should continue to wear your mask and avoid anyone you don't need to see- Reduce your desire to frequent bars and restaurants (though we should all help them out by ordering takeout!). ) because the finish line is approaching!.
This mask has been on my wish list for a while now. I received masks with an external metal nose clip that was solid and provided a good seal around the nose with my previous two orders. The metal nose clip could be seen from the outside of those masks. However, with my most recent order, I noticed that the nose clip has been redesigned and is now completely covered in the mask's fabric, and the clip itself is not strong enough to create a seal around your nose. As a result, you can feel air coming up through the top of the mask and into your eyes when you take a breath. This makes it impossible to wear this mask with glasses because they will fog up in seconds. The previous design allowed you to wear the mask with glasses and not have them fog. I'd give the previous nose clip design a five-star rating, but only one star to the new nose clip design.
