Hello, Ashley. Could you please elaborate on what you mean when you say the glove was "too long?" What you're saying is that your fingers were excessively long. The cuff should be long to protect your child's hand and prevent a blade from cutting into their sleeve. br>I'm looking forward to hearing from you so I can better assist you. br>With heartfelt gratitude,br>Customer service

I bought two of these in a row for my fencer, who ended up with eczema on his hand under the glove. br>br>The glove is fine, but it is not washable, which significantly reduces its lifespan and can cause skin irritation. Instead, save money by purchasing a washable glove from a fencing supply store.
The gauntlet (glove) arrived on time and in good condition. It was well-made, well-sewn, and it fit perfectly. (They were so good that I ordered five more for myself and my son. ).
This glove was a hit with my DC because it had shorter fingers and a good fit. The problem is that the grip wears off after a while; I ordered another glove because the first one was so comfortable, but the second one is larger, despite ordering the same size XS.
He has these in a smaller size, and they are of good quality; he would keep them if he weren't growing. Now that he's bigger, I ordered a bigger size, but I had to return them because he has long fingers and they didn't fit.
He fences at least once a week. He likes how they feel and how they fit. This is an excellent product.
My daughter (a tall 8-year-old) was able to wear it. For the past two months, it has performed admirably.
This is an excellent glove. The padding is nice and it's very comfortable, but the "fencing grip" peels off easily. The fabric is ripped by the Velcro. However, it is a good fencing glove in general.
