In the area of the brow To some extent, your ears are malleable. I used the sizing guide for a padded helmet like those used in various martial arts to solve the sizing problem. I wear an XL padded helmet, and after comparing it to the fencing helmet guide, I came up with a comparison size that is comfortably snug without being too small that it won't fit, or too large that any impact will throw it off and cost you valuable response time.
It provides you with a choice. Mine is a dark color.
It is possible to bend it, but it is difficult. It's a substantial metal piece. It can be bended to fit your head snugly.

I'm a tsl member, and I use it for lightsaber combat. It works well, is comfortable, and can withstand a few hits to the face.
I'm trying to keep it from coming undone, as the behind-the-head strap is almost useless. Face guard fits perfectly, but it's still a work in progress to keep it tight. This thing, on the other hand, can take a beating! Overall, it's a good product, but the fit is a minus. For DBMA fighting, this is a good choice.
Because you can see through the mask, I added some see-through fabric to the inside so that I can see out while no one else can see inside. The addition of head padding and a back-of-the-head strap is a nice touch.
I have a smallish head, but I chose the large because it is easier to take up space than it is to expand it, and it fits perfectly.
This was purchased for the purpose of rattan stick sparring. It arrived a day earlier than expected, clean and well-packaged. br>br>Comfortable padding that fits just tight enough on the head to keep it secure but not so tight that it suffocates the wearer. br>br>It stays on even when I jump around or move around a lot. br>br>I'm very pleased with it.
I've only used it for kali so far. Using padded sticks and plastic training knives to spar. It functions admirably.
