I bought this to help my back when I'm working in the garden and have to bend and lift a lot of things. My son swears by it, claiming that if he uses it while gardening, his back feels great the next day, but if he doesn't, his back hurts. His has been around for a long time and he says it's still going strong. It appears to be well-made, and I like that you can easily tighten it for extra support during more strenuous activities. I've only had it for a few weeks, so I'm not sure how much it's helped my back, but so far it's been great. I couldn't give it a good rating for pain relief because I rarely have back pain and only do so when I overdo things.

I bought one for my husband (to move irrigation equipment/tractoring, etc. ) and another for myself (to move 75 hay bales). buckets filled with heavy feed). I knew I had to get one for my brother after he mentioned his lower back pain from moving boxes of motor oil and other chemicals at an auto supply job. I was planning on sending it for Christmas, but I'm thinking of surprising him instead so he can get the help he needs right away. The brace is big enough to cover my entire back, from mid-back to lower-back. The second set of Velcro straps I wrap around the lower part of my back to provide additional support.
