Selected User Reviews For Microwavable Mittens and Heated Gloves for Arthritis Hands – Hand Warmers for Arthritis Using Moist Heat Therapy
These enormous purple mittens are the most relaxing item I've ever worn. I had no idea how much tension had built up in my hands, wrists, and forearms as a result of long commutes and hours spent at the computer. Making the decision to put these heat therapy mittens on and stop doing everything for a few minutes every night forces me to relax and unwind. Getting ready for bed has become a nightly ritual and part of my routine. With these babies on, you can't type, text, or even use the remote, which is ideal because all I have to do is sit or lie down and breathe as I prepare to end my day. They're also simple to use, warm up quickly, and are machine washable:.
However, it is only suitable for moist heat therapy of the entire hand and wrist, and is best used on the top and bottom of the hands. I rotate my hands to get my thumbs (as only the top and bottom have heat packs), and I make fists to get my wrists. br>br>Wish the heat packs wrapped around the sides and went the entire length of the mittens, but were a little thinner to save weight. There's no aromatherapy (like lavender, which many of these have), and the lentil flavor isn't as strong as some of the others.
I thought I'd only use them for that, but now I'm putting them on my entire body! Setting them on my shoulders, especially while I'm at my computer, is my absolute favorite way to wear them. They're just the right weight to help them fall down my shoulders when I scrunch them up to my ears. They also help to relieve my stress in a very soothing way. During savasana, I also lie on top of them and feel as if I'm melting into the ground. They keep their heat for a long time, and because my microwave isn't very powerful, I only have to microwave them for about 3 minutes. These make me extremely happy!.
I ordered these in the hopes of getting some relief. I use it twice a day for 20 minutes each time, and it gives me a lot of relief from the humid heat. This is extremely relaxing.
Blood tests and x-rays have both been performed on me. X-rays to rule out any damage to the joints or nerves. To increase blood flow, I've used epsom salt baths, acupuncture/moxa/cupping, and Golden milk (tumeric and ginger), as well as topical steroid cream and CBD balm. Wearing my new microwaveable mittens, on the other hand, provides the most relief, warmth, and soothing comfort! I heat for 2 minutes in my microwave (I'm sure the temperature varies depending on the microwave). The flax seed inserts, unlike other microwaveable neck/shoulder wraps I've tried, don't have the hops scent when heated, which is an added bonus! Warm these up, grab a cozy blanket, and prepare to unwind, warm up, and take a well-earned nap! I would strongly suggest it.
These are fantastic; just pop them in the microwave for 30 to 45 seconds and they'll be nice and hot and just the right temperature. She slid her hands in and sat for an hour, savoring every moment of it. These are, in my opinion, essential for someone with arthritis. There are a variety of options available, including other brands and products. And I'd read a lot of different reviews, and most of them were either positive or negative, so I wasn't sure about them at first. If you follow the instructions, you'll have hours of fun with these. It comes highly recommended!.
Absolutely wonderful and relaxing! I work as a writer and spend most of my time typing on a computer, which causes my hands to become achy and cramped. These mittens have greatly aided me in unwinding at the end of the day and releasing all of the tension I've accumulated. They're the perfect amount of value, and I love that the heat bags can be removed and used elsewhere (like on your back or shoulders). Overall, even if you don't have muscle pains, I highly recommend these because they are incredibly relaxing and soothing.
They're very useful because they keep the heat in, but they're also very heavy, just in case that information is useful to you.
