Although I had no issues with my thumb, I believe it is worth a shot. The trigger fingers were completely corrected after 5 weeks of wearing the splints on two of my fingers at night.

These splints for fingers are fantastic! I use them at night for "TriggerFinger" issues! The only thing I would recommend is wearing sports tape underneath, especially if you have sensitive skin like me. I also avoid making the splint too tight by using sports tape. I also like how the metal splint piece can be easily removed for cleaning.
Exactly as stated in the description It aids in the prevention of my finger locking up while I'm sleeping. My finger would curl up and become unusable. If I didn't have it, I'd have to straighten it out with my other hand.
I suppose they'd be fine for any finger except your thumb, but not for your thumbs, which is what I needed.
I've been looking for a nighttime trigger finger brace, and these are perfect! They're light, but they keep my finger in place; They also stay put rather than sliding off, as I had feared.
It's adequate (but so is a piece of first-aid tape). The stiff part digs into my palm and causes pain, so I only gave it three stars. I've returned to using the tape because it is more comfortable.
Over the course of several months, this technique was used to gradually improve trigger finger. My finger no longer "locks" in a curled position, though it's not a quick fix. I only wore the brace at night, so I could have gotten better results sooner.
This is ideal for someone with a trigger finger. You must realize that there is a correct and incorrect way to wear it. The long end should be able to fit into your hand, and the short end should end just past the last knuckle. For a clumsy one from a specialty clinic, I had to pay $40 plus insurance. That's a huge improvement.
Both of my hands have a trigger thumb. Because I have to wait another 6 months for surgery, these are proving to be even more beneficial than I anticipated. My thumb isn't stuck in a painful lock any longer when I wake up. br>br>I put these on and take them off throughout the day. DO NOT overtighten the straps. I keep mine light and just take it out and put my thumb in it on and off throughout the afternoon. Strongly advise.
