Questions & Answers

The box appears to be of various sizes and shapes in the photo - or are all ten bandages the same size (4 x 4) square?

Use the product's description as a guide. 4X4 is written here. I've never seen more than one size in a single box before. My 4X4s all arrived in the same condition as they were described. The image is most likely from their dressing line's stock photography.

Is a total of 100 pieces in a ten-box set?

No, there will be ten 4x4 bandages in the box. Because you can cut the bandage to size with scissors, 10 can usually last a long time; just remember to leave at least 3/4 inch (2cm) of bandage around the wound, even if it is small. As a result, it's critical to consider the wound's size. In order for the bandage to work, it must adhere to dry skin and should completely surround the wound. I couldn't find a website that made this really simple to show you, only medical jargon ones. However, depending on the size of the sore you're covering, those ten bandages could turn into 40. If you notice that they are quickly rubbing off or developing edges, simply cover them with something, but not sticky tape! To keep myself from rubbing it off while sleeping, I've used wrist bands, an ace bandage, and even pantyhose. It shouldn't be necessary to change it for three - I've had them on for four days and seven days. What I like about these is that they don't have any glue-covered tape like a regular bandaid, which usually means the original sore has healed, but I'd end up with sores where the tape had gotten stuck.

Do you apply an ointment to the irritated area first, then apply the duoderm patch on top of the ointment?

You spread it out over an open area with nothing on it. White blood cells are trapped and deliver moisture to the wound as the wound drains. Every 3 months, you switch it out. 4 days before reapplying, cleanse with mild soap and water.

My problem is that the outside of the dressing sticks to my clothes and bedding. Is there anything I can do about it?

There are several methods, including using gauze between the dressing and the cloth, applying micropore 3m tape to the outside face of the dressing, applying sterile powder to the outside face of the dressing, cleaning the back face dressing with alcohol prior to use (the dressing should not be sticky in the back face), and checking the due date or storage temperature. Body temperature can melt glue at times, and you'll need to take precautions to avoid this. I hope it works out for you, and I wish you a speedy recovery.

Acne treatment with this product
5/5

These are the best; I've previously used corsx acne dots. Then I heard that Nexcare ones are better, so I gave them a try. Then, of course, someone had to tell me that duoderm dressings are superior to the other two and that I was wasting my money, so I purchased this after finishing the Nexcare ones, and THEY WERE RIGHT. These are fantastic! I'm irritated and feel cheated now that I'm using them. I took a photo of the nexcare sheet and placed it next to a duoderm sheet. The nexcare comes with only one sheet with 30 stickers, whereas the duoderm comes with a colossal ten-sheet pack. Take a look at how small the sticker sheet is in comparison to the duoderm. What a swindle, to say the least. Duoderm is thinner, and you can cut it to your desired size. It also adheres to your skin better and works better at sucking out the gunk. If you're getting these for acne, that's all you need to know. Otherwise, you'll be squandering your cash.

Acne is relieved! First and foremost, I'd like to express my gratitude for the quick shipping, which arrived days ahead of schedule
5/5

Acne dots, which are supposed to work in the same way, were recently purchased and proved to be effective. Unfortunately, the acne dots don't last very long; I used up the entire box in two days, so I decided to try something new. In nursing school, I recall learning about this type of bandage. Despite the fact that I hadn't seen them since graduation, I figured what the hell. At 11 a. m. yesterday, I cut the bandage to fit the acne spots on my face and applied it. It had drawn all of the nasty puss and exudate to the surface when I woke up this morning, which I was able to wipe away with witch hazel. This is a gift from the gods. I had acne when I was 14, and it had come back with a vengeance as I approached 40. Topical peroxide acne treatments have left me with dark scars on my face from hyperpigmentation. This is a common occurrence in people with dark skin. I wish I'd thought of this months ago, but I'm glad I discovered it before things got any worse. I know this is for pressure sores, wounds, and ulcers, but I'm hoping it will help me avoid popping pimples and scarring by preventing acne. When it comes to acne, a single bandage can go a long way.

I'm having conflicting emotions
4/5

I'd like to address a couple of points because I've used similar bandages from other brands before and feel confident in my assessment.
1. Thin. a point of contention However, the term "thin" can be defined in a variety of ways. but IMO. I wouldn't describe it as "thin," but it is certainly thinner than standard. br>2. Wearing it can be uncomfortable at times, especially when it's hot outside. This is the nature of having a bandage like this. It's just something to keep in mind.
3. These were not sticky enough for me. Even after you've applied. You'll need to tape down the edges, according to the instructions. I've had similar bandages where it wasn't required or specified.
4. Lifting is a problem, but that's partly because I didn't tape the edge as instructed. Okay, it's just a matter of principle. Tape isn't going to last that long anyway, so retaping to avoid lifting is a waste of time. The lifting causes it to pick up color from fabrics, dirt, and other sources. It will, however, stay on.
5. "Keep dry," says the instruction. Showers aren't required when using this product, but I've worn them in the shower and they stay in place, which may contribute to the lifting.
6. You can cut these into smaller pieces and use them as needed. That's a victory!
7. They're almost transparent, but the color is closer to that of skin. It's difficult to notice. It has a texture that helps it blend in better. This is fantastic. When it comes to this, this is the best brand I've ever used.
8. They're tough; I may be a misuser/abuser, but the product has held up so far, with the exception of some minor lifting.
9. In addition, the price is reasonable for this type of bandage. br>br>Conclusion: good product, could be better, but well worth the money if instructions are followed. If you are unable to do so, I would advise you to try something else.

Save your sanity with this application
5/5

Since June 2017, I've been treating my PPPP (Palmo Plantar Pustular Psoriasis) with ConvaTec DuoDERM Extra Thin CGF Dressings 4 X 4 Inches. Finding answers and medication that works for this terrible auto immune disease is difficult enough, but finding something to get you through the day is even more difficult. That is, without a doubt, priceless. Advantages: br>br> Each 4x4 sheet can be cut to fit any part of your foot (heels, toes, or the entire sole). It's as if the extra-thin material is a second skin. Complicity at every level. I'll be able to wear it for 1 hour. 2 days, and you can even take a shower without getting too hot. The blisters and dry skin associated with PPPP are still present, but I am able to walk. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. There are very few drawbacks - It may take more than dead skin to peel it off in some cases. All you have to do now is wait and be cautious. The only other disadvantage is that all of my socks have been ruined, but I can live with that and replace them. br>br>I highly recommend ConvaTec DuoDERM Extra Thin CGF Dressings 4 X 4 Inches for PPPP, and I will continue to use them as long as they are available because the worst that can happen is that my PPPP goes into remission. It's become my new normal, and this product is the only thing that keeps me sane.
