I believe it would be adequate protection for the head and face. Not so much in the throat and neck.

Small helmets are suitable for children, while medium and large helmets are suitable for most adults. These helmets are used by my 8 and 10 year old sons when they go bull riding. The first one's chin strap snapped, so we're on our second.
This helmet has been a lifesaver for me during learn to play classes and open hockey/pickups over the last few months. I've had backwards falls that should have knocked me out and left me concussed, but I've recovered quickly and returned to play. I've fallen flat on my face and had the cage save my ugly mug from biting the ice, and I recently took a shot off the temple and, despite a few seconds of bell ringing, got right back into the game (see photo, slight bend on metal bauer plate). The only disadvantage is that I have a large round head, and this is probably better suited to oval-shaped heads. br>br>It's still a five-star rating.
This was required for college broomball, so I used it. br>br>When I first put it on, it was a perfect fit on my head, but I needed to make minor adjustments to the chin strap to keep it from rising too high while still playing comfortably. The adjustment straps are simple to use and stay in place once changed, so you won't have to worry about it moving again. The strap has a strong snap button that won't come off while wearing it. Snapping the button together can be difficult at first, but after doing so a few times during the game, it became second nature. While putting the helmet on, the cage can move out of the way, which is held in place by two of the same type of buttons as the chin strap, but this one snaps into place on the side of the helmet. These are a little easier because you can simply press on the helmet and snap it in with one hand. br>br>This helmet provides excellent protection; I've been boarding and falling on the ice with no pain in my head. On the main points of the head, there is a paddle that wraps around your head and sits comfortably. The helmet has no cracks or broken parts due to rough use. Even with all of the padding around my head, it never gets too hot inside there when I'm playing. There is excellent ventilation both outside and inside, which helps to keep it cool.
I trust this helmet 100% of the time when playing to protect me from head injury and will keep using this when I need it and will keep using it.
Everything about the helmet appeals to me, from the price to the comfort. In fact, I have two of them because I purchased a ring-colored helmet for my team. As a result, I have a pond and pick-up helmet as well as a team helmet. The only thing that bothers me about it is that my glasses don't fit well under it, but that isn't the helmet's fault. Excellent product, particularly for those on a tight budget! I'd recommend it to anyone of any age group!.
The price is very reasonable. It was designed to fit a typical 11-year-old for box lacrosse. It's a little tight at first, but it opens up a lot. It didn't fit his friend's head, which is too small for a size 22. 5”. br>br>As a result, the helmet expands and the face mask strap tightens it. As a result, you'll be able to fine-tune the fit. For this level of play, I believe it is relatively safe. I'm not sure when the balls really start to fly, but I'm not sure.
This helmet is a big hit with my son. He's been wearing it for a few months and has never expressed any dissatisfaction with it. And he had a lot of complaints about his previous ccm helmet.
Front to back, there was plenty of room for me, but the sides were too tight no matter how much I adjusted it. More blood flow to the head causes the helmet to fit even tighter, especially after I've been playing for a while. I spoke with Hockey Giant, and they said you could stretch it by pulling the sides apart. That's what I've been doing, and it's improving, so I'll keep going. Aside from that, it performs admirably, with excellent visibility through the cage.
It was simple to unsnap the sides (where it says "Bauer") and lengthen the helmet (front-to-back). back). I stretched it out, put it on my head, and then pushed it back together. With the helmet on my head, I was able to easily snap the adjustable claps into place, ensuring a perfect fit. I've worn it in a few games and it's stayed true to size while also being comfortable and durable.
