Mine is a bright red color. They are available in a variety of colors.
Sure. If the ball isn't smaller than a baseball, it won't fit through the mask opening. Keep in mind that it doesn't go all the way down (throat).
NOCSAE standards are met by this helmet.
As far as I recall, there were two size options that covered a wide range of sizes (for example, 6 5/8 - 6 5/8). They're a little adjustable (7 1/4 or something like that). Very comfortable and simple to put on and take off. It's what I use for softball pitching.

Helmet is very comfortable. Slow pitch softball is where I use it. It was a bit heavy at first, but I quickly became accustomed to it. However, there is a great view out of the mask, and it is not obstructed in any way.
This is what I got for softball pitching. It was a little heavier and tighter than I expected, but a quick adjustment with the side straps took care of the latter, and I just got used to the former. I think I could handle a direct line drive with a lot of padding (not that I'm planning on doing so anytime soon). The only drawback appears to be the lack of a visor to cover the mask in order to keep the sun out.
This is an incredible helmet. The padding is soft and comfortable. Padding can be adjusted to some extent. The padding reminded me of Schutt football helmets, so that sold me. The padding on this helmet isn't made of cloth, so it won't smell bad. The chin padding is also vinyl, but it's covered by a washable cloth sleeve. Her face was once again devoid of a large, stinky, funky chin pad. My 14-year-old daughter, who is too tall for intermediate gear but too short for an adult helmet, found the fit to be ideal.
This mask is very nice, and it fits my large head (7 5/8) perfectly. With the big boys, I'm not sure I'd trust it. It's a little smaller than the other bucket I have, but it's lighter in weight, which is nice, and I bought a throat extender. The padding on the helmet is fantastic, far superior to the foam crap in my Wilson bucket.
It's very relaxing. Although a little heavy, it provides excellent visibility and is simple to put on and take off.
This is an excellent helmet for someone who falls somewhere between the standard youth and adult sizes offered by most manufacturers. My son recently outgrew his youth helmets, and all of the other adult sizes were either too big or the masks were too long, causing him to be unable to turn his head in a squat. This helmet fits him perfectly and is extremely comfortable. It has a very well-built feel to it. I wish the buckles were made of metal rather than plastic because I'm concerned that they won't fit the snaps securely enough in the long run, but they appear to be working well so far.
This was purchased for the catcher on my select team, and she absolutely adores it. Inside, there is excellent padding. It's a fantastic mask/helmet.
