Questions & Answers
We bought this a long time ago, and I'm not sure what the measurement was. I measured the string after measuring the distance around her head with a piece of string. To get the right fit, I had to convert the measurements from inches to centimeters. Once that was completed and we received the helmet, it fit perfectly and is very light, so the child's neck is not put under a lot of strain.
It was far too large for our six-month-old child. Our little girl is a year old. It still appears large, but she only weighs 17 pounds (so she's a tiny one-year-old).
When I bought it, it was too small for my 23-month-old, so I would say yes.
Yes, I believe so. My 18-month-old grandson sits it on his head perfectly and does not appear to sit awkwardly.

I looked for a helmet for quite some time! I couldn't decide between one like this, which is more traditional, and the newer skateboarder/snowboarder style, which is becoming increasingly popular for bicycles. I chose two of these in the end. These tend to come in smaller sizes, which we needed because our 14-month-olds' heads were in the 50th percentile range. br>br>Fit- These are fantastic - they're wise. They're a perfect fit for their heads, and they'll grow with them until they're at least two years old. PROS: br>br>
- a perfect fit for smaller headsbr>- price. . It's impossible to beat - especially if you buy everything in pairs! CONS: br>br>
- It's a big piece of equipment! We bought the helmets so they'd have head protection in our bike trailer, but they're so big that the girls can't sit in the pull-behind with their heads up straight. back of the trailer.
Summary: This helmet fits my 9-month-old daughter perfectly, even though she is in the 70th percentile for head circumference and weight. In terms of height, you're in the 99th percentile. The Pros: br>br>The Pros: br>br>The Pros: br>b
- It was as simple as adjusting the nylon strap webbing that goes under the chin to get it to fit on my daughter's head.
- The helmet's back strap adjusts automatically to my daughter's head circumference, ensuring a comfortable fit that is neither too tight nor too loose.
- I don't think the strap will irritate or abrade your skin because it's made of soft material.
- The buckle is curved to prevent pinching of the chin skin.
- I am familiar with the "Bell" helmet brand and have a high level of trust in it. br>- The padding in the helmet is adequate, measuring about 1/8 inch thick.
- This is a great way to vent. The Drawbacks: br>br>
- I've noticed that the helmet is a little bulky on the back of her head right now (not a health and safety issue), but because of this extra bulk, she's forced to look down at a 60 degree angle toward the ground instead of being able to sit at close to a 90 degree angle and look forward, which she'll grow out of as she grows taller. br>br>Other Considerations: My children are riding in a two-person mastercycle child bike trailer.
This helmet is designed for toddlers rather than infants. It cannot be adjusted in any way. Shortening or lengthening the chin strap is the only adjustment available. Because the inside of the helmet is already too big, even tightening the strap as much as possible causes the helmet to become very loose. The manufacturer calls the elastic band sewn into the inside part of the helmet "True Fit," but it's just a cheap excuse for not including an actual size adjuster. For infants, the Joovy Noodle in size small is a far superior helmet that perfectly fits my 12-month-old.
Perfect for my son, who is 10 months old. He should be able to wear it for quite some time because the strap is adjustable.
I was concerned that my son would be uncomfortable wearing this helmet, but he seemed to enjoy it! He wore it for three hours straight and didn't complain when it was removed. It's perfect because the chin strap is designed to prevent you from accidentally clipping your child's chin.
It was given to me in November, when she was 20 months old and weighing 23 pounds. Now that it's February, she's 23 months old and weighs 26 pounds. She's small, so I was worried it would be too big, but it fits perfectly! On the first ride, she tried to pull it out a little, but once we got going, she was fine; after a few rides with the helmet, she was completely comfortable with it, and it appears to do its job. This is something I strongly suggest!.
This helmet is designed to fit our size 1. It fits a two-year-old child perfectly and is simple to put on and remove. The chin clip is effective and comfortable to wear. We quickly adjusted the strap and have not needed to do so since. On a hot day, he gets a sweaty head and eventually wants to take it off, so it's possible it's a little warm. But, to be fair, it's hot outside in the summer in North Carolina! For a reasonable price, this is a fantastic and adorable helmet.
The helmet fit my 18-month-old child perfectly, but the strap didn't work at all. Because the part that goes under the chin is too far forward, it easily slips beneath the chin. The problem is not solved by shortening the strap, and there is no way to adjust the front/back position of the strap. I returned it and replaced it with a Schwin, which is much more adjustable and works just as well.
