A flat surface

They are wide, but what is their length?

My mens skates have had these for some time now. I measured the width just for you - thanks for asking! Five millimeters or three sixteenths of an inch. The way they measure things today is that way.

Each lace is 110 cm long

Although they are flat, they were easy to lace around the hooks on the uppers and through the boot eyelets

Figure skating lace that is best in class

I am satisfied with the quality of these laces. This means they will not deteriorate as quickly as Riedell or Jackson laces will. In addition, they seem to grip better, so my daughter is able to tie the laces on her own without help when getting new skates tight.

There was an error in the size chart

It was crucial that my daughter's Jackson Elite skates of size 4 have new laces. In addition to skating twice a day, we often go a third time. We wrapped the frayed part in duck tape to keep us from breaking it until the new ones arrived, because we were afraid the old ones may break before the new ones arrive. Our laces arrived today and they're way too short, so we'll have to order another set and wait another few days. It is my hope that the duck tape will hold.

It would be nice to purchase them again in the future! The elite prolace figure skating laces have just been delivered to me and I have already used them

It turned out to be flat skate laces because the laces themselves are flat. The laces are supposed to be for figure skates, so I would recommend leaving the word "hockey" out of the description.

I bought a women's skate in size 8 and they fit In order to measure the length of my old laces, I went by their sir chart rather than by their chart.

It does not have the same size

There were two lace legs that were 2 inches shorter than the other. For a pair of skates I had made up for a Christmas decoration, I ended up using them anyway.

Neither held up nor held up well

I am disappointed- I laced up for one skate session and it frayed. My figure skate is not very pleased with the lace in general because it never really tightens up.
