I'm a new skater who wanted to give it a try before spending money on more expensive blade covers. My skates are Jackson Ultimas, and they work great after I get off the ice, keeping the blades from rusting until I get home, clean them up, and put blade guards on them. For beginners, I suggest these. For the price, these are a good deal; however, keep in mind that the size is a little small for my blades. They would not have fit the blades if they had been any smaller.
I bought these for a three-year-old's skates (size 9T), and they fit perfectly and will grow with her as she grows into larger skates. They keep her blades dry while also protecting them. It's a better deal than the ones at the local pro shop, which are ridiculously expensive.
These were purchased when I first began ice skating a year ago, and they are still in excellent condition! I don't even look after them very well. Others at the rink have holes in their soakers, but mine show no signs of wear except for some pilling in the material. Three-dimensional skating is something I do. I use them 5 times a week, so I'm surprised I haven't needed to buy another pair!.
It is well-made. Soak up as much water as you can from the blades. Because the black from the rink's foam/rubber flooring makes the pink ones look soiled, I should've gone with black or a darker color. Delivery was very quick. The next time I buy, I'll get it in father's colors.
I enrolled my daughter in ice skating lessons, and the instructor expressed delight that we had them. It will extend the life of the skates, according to the manufacturer. Without my assistance, she was able to easily put them on and remove them from the blades.
This is a present for my girlfriend, and while I don't skate, I know she looked at it, so let's hope she enjoys it.
) In the photo, the product mentioned is on the left skate. The solid pink color was what I went for.
We're new to ice skating, and this is a great way to get started. They are, however, simple to put on and work well with sizes 10 and 11! I've put these on right after getting off the ice, but I recommend wiping the blade with a towel and then putting them on!.
