It includes a carrying strap with loops on both ends that attach to the rolled mat. After that, the strap can be slung over the shoulder for easy transport.
Pogamat can indeed be cut with a carpet knife.
It is extremely gentle on my joints. The edges do not need to be folded in. That being said, I'm new to teaching a slow flow aerial class, so I'm often on my knees while practicing, and when I finally teach it, I use a thin mat underneath. To be honest, the more I teach, the less I require it, and it is solely for my knees. I never use a second mat in a class, whether it's aerial or regular yoga. I hope this information is useful. I'm 5'8" and weigh 155 lbs. and have a medium build. I don't do handstands or full wt, and I only do poses with my hands.
In my experience, this is not true.

I'd prefer to be Amazon, though. br>The product was delivered on time and in excellent condition. br>I just did a trial run with the mat. The mat is nice and thick, with plenty of stick. I needed an xxl long mat because my 5'9" height prevented me from using a 68" mat. I despise stretching out and taking my hands and feet away from the mat. For me, the additional inches in width are a plus. This is going to be my new home and studio mat. Love. It.
I usually avoid criticizing products on the internet, but I feel compelled to warn my fellow Yogis that this is completely useless for Yoga practice. I have two major concerns about this. The first thing that comes to mind is the odor. It claims to be odorless, but this is far from the case. I don't have a great sense of smell to begin with, but this smells horribly chemical. It's difficult to concentrate on your breathing when this happens. The second issue I have with this is that, despite the fact that it claims to be non-slip, it isn't. It is, in fact, extremely slick. On this mat, try holding and warrior poses. Your back foot will be sliding backwards the entire time, and the one and only time I tried using this mat, I had the worst Yoga session of my life. Also, while the extra thickness is nice for cushioning your knees, it's honestly not worth it because, at least for me, it appears to ruin my balance. On this mat, anything done on one foot is far more difficult, in a negative way.
Also, when I rolled over and stretched, I always felt like I was on the floor; this mat is fantastic! When I stretch or do floor work, I don't get any knee pain, and it's great for not only Yoga but also fitness. This Mat is fantastic! The 4x6 is what I got.
This is an excellent mat. It was recommended to me by a yoga class friend, and I purchased it. I ordered one because it is significantly larger and thicker than a regular one. The price is excellent; in fact, she had paid even more elsewhere. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because it's a yoga mat, but because it's a little thicker, your hands slide around when the material is compressed by your bare hands and feet! Although it appears to be a problem for many poses, it is a trade-off for comfort, and I still use my thin mat for more agile practice.
I weigh 325 pounds and stand 6'4" tall. Regular mats are too narrow and too long. My whole fat arse now fits comfortably on the mat. Because of its small size, it also prevents most people from setting up too close.
I'm six feet and six inches tall. This mat is exactly what I'm looking for. There is a lot of space. My knees don't have to work as hard because of the thicker foam. The mat is very well adhered to the floor and does not sag. Other reviews have claimed that it is slick. It's no more or less slick than any other mat I've used in the past. It is a non-negotiable situation. factor. br>As an added bonus, it always makes people laugh at the yoga studio when I roll it out and that extra couple of feet of space just keeps going.
This yoga mat is absolutely incredible. I had a small one, and my hair escaped and strewn across the filthy floor. Because my hair is dry, I can only wash it once a week or else my scalp will become irritated. That same hair ends up on my pillow, if you think about it. That's simply revolting. This new mat is ideal; I'm 5'4" tall, so there's plenty of room for someone taller. It's perfect because I also bought a mat cleanser. To the seller - Thank you very much for the excellent service!.
My new Pogamat Large Yoga mats arrived today, and my wife and I are very pleased with them. They are fantastic! You can use them on their own, but we found that combining them with our individual Yoga mats made them a great combination. They're soft and grippy, and they're ideal for our Zen room. The size of the boxes they arrived in for something that rolls up is the only drawback I can think of. We got one in each box, despite the fact that four could probably fit in one. GO GREEN!.
