The majority of them work until they are at least 13 years old. The pros are This product is a lot more comfortable than its predecessors. It is large enough to catch the helmet (the other one does not). It has a kid-friendly velcro latch. *Extra thick to take up the space behind the neck and there are tabs to use to secure it to a cheat protector (e. g. , other buckle latches are not)
*WINNER! The cons are The helmet is thinner / wider so some might argue it is a bit hotter, however when worn with a full face helmet it is worth it.
The weight of my 5 yo son is 45 lbs. A boy of 5t and 4/5 wears a size 5t. The vest fits loosely, but well enough for him to not shift when he is in gear. It is not yet clear whether there is a way to secure it to his roost protector, but given his pace, it is not vital at this time. There is a double velcro closure in the front for a very secure fit. Despite being dense and soft, the inside of the foam is still comfortable and soft.
During the fall, he plans on wearing it. In summary, he says that it works well and is fairly comfortable.
It's a little too big for him but it's made really well and was a great price I got it for him for his start to riding my bike this year.
Definitely one of the best helmet braces available. As well as the EVS one, I have the one for my five-year-old This is older, but I like how the back of the neck has more support.
When my son is involved in a go kart crash, this helmet protects his neck. He sat on the ground with his head tucked under Stability of the spine and the neck has greatly improved.
There is no comfort in this. Even after switching sizes, I still didn't feel any I was unable to use credit due to the passage of time before it was received. It's just that the material in the back isn't too rough on the vertebrae.
