These were purchased as a gift for my young son. He is 10. It was only a month ago that they arrived. They're ripped down to the pad after only four games on turf. I was dissatisfied with the pants for the price of 70 dollars.
I only tossed them in the dryer for 5 minutes. I take them out and hang them to dry for the remainder of the process. Because the pants have a lot of padding, it's possible that's why they don't recommend drying them in the dryer.
I went to Storelli's website to see what "poron xrd pads" are, but neither their site nor Amazon had any information about them; or at the very least, I was unable to locate it. Daughter still likes the pants, and she says the fabric isn't worn on the padded areas, so I'm guessing they're pretty durable. This is her third pair of KPs and her first pair of Storelli pants. I'm not going to buy any more pants.

For the past ten years, I've been goalkeeping in amateur (not professional) leagues. Because I play on turf, I need to wear long pants to avoid turf burns. I also needed protection because I was injuring my hips when I fell. br>br>I've always gotten the less expensive Adidas GK pants, but I thought I'd try something a little more expensive this time. end. Storelli appeared to be in good physical condition. I got them because they were well-liked by everyone. My calves cleated and the pants simply ripped the first time I wore them. The stretch nylon on the back of the calves is much thinner than the rest of the pants. A hole appeared near the ankles after a few matches. I suppose the "good" thing is that the rips/holes aren't getting any bigger. Apart from these instances, I would wash it on low in the washing machine, but I didn't, so the pads are flipping themselves inside the pocket after 8 months of use, which isn't a big deal.
The fit is fairly accurate to the stated size, the padding is excellent, the ease of use is probably its best feature, and the price is reasonable for what you get. br>If I had one complaint, it would be with the material used; while it appears to be of good quality and has held its shape and size well, some of the spandex fibers have separated slightly. It hasn't hampered the item's use, but when you pay for the best, you don't expect this to happen. br>As I previously stated, it has had no effect on its usability and is not visible, but it is disappointing. br>However, we have no reservations in recommending them; they are truly excellent.
If you're going to play goalie on a turf field, this is a must-have. Excellent protection, flexibility, and breathability.
The padding is fantastic, form-fitting, and (I believe) beneficial to my game. Both turf and grass respond well to it. br>br>My only criticism is that if you go to the ground frequently to make sliding plays or tackles, your knees will rip out after a season or two. Given the cost, this is unfortunate, but they are still worthwhile.
The knees and hips are well-padded, and the pants are very comfortable. The large fits me well because I am 5'10" and 185 pounds with a thin to average build. There should be no excessive slack or tightness. I'm hoping these will hold up on artificial turf because the Adidas pants I've been wearing get shredded after only a few slides. In a month or so, I'll return to comment on the long-term viability. br>br>I should also point out that they look great, much better than most keeper pants.
The padding appears to be in the right place and provides adequate protection. The issue is with the fit and the wear of the materials. Tall people with medium or larger thighs will find the seat/thigh area insufficiently accommodating. I'm in good shape, despite my large frame. On me, these fit like yoga pants or tights for a performance. I've been thinking about wearing shorts over them, but haven't done so yet. Another issue is durability; it's been half a season (split between grass and turf) and the fabric on one knee has already developed three tiny wear spots. If this trend continues, they'll need to be replaced much sooner than I expected.
I was attempting to place an order for these tall-framed glasses. My son is 6'2" and the pants were too tight around his calves and didn't go all the way down to his ankles, despite the fact that they were supposed to be fitted at the bottom. They're nice pants, but if you've got leg muscles, fitted means fitted, and despite ordering tall, I only got regular length. They were taken by his sister, so there was no way for him to get them back.
These pants are fantastic. They protected him in all the right places, according to his son!.
