The pad is absolutely stunning. It looks exactly like the picture and goes perfectly with my tack. It's been holding up well so far. I am satisfied with my purchase. I'm pleased that the pad matches my expectations; however, the leather and painting feel a little flimsy, and I don't think it'll last long as an everyday pad. However, it is primarily for display purposes. But, as they say, you get what you pay for.
The pad is a little stiff, but not nearly as bad as some others. The painted wear leathers are extremely stiff. It was not placed on my horse. I gave it back to you. I like the pattern, but the stiffness of the pads bothers me. During the "break in" period for pads, I'm sure horses aren't very comfortable. I chose a more expensive brand because it was more versatile right out of the box.
Because it was too long for my short back horse, I returned it. When I first opened the box, it had a foul odor.
Beautiful pad that looks even better in person than it does in pictures.
