It's a solid piece that will last a long time. It's just a little too heavy for me. After a while, my arm gets tired of holding it, especially when it comes to desensitizing my colt to rubbing and spanking the ground. Overall, I enjoy it and would purchase it again.
Very sturdy, and the rope can be removed if you only want to direct with a stick.

There is nothing wrong with this product; in fact, I enjoy it. However, I am very short, and it is VERY long for me, as well as a little heavier than I anticipated. But it gets the job done and appears to be quite durable.
It's too thin; it's easy to break or at the very least split it. When the weight and stiffness aren't balanced, it's also difficult to control.
It's small and simple to operate. I have a wrist problem, but I don't mind using the stick.
Good weight, simple to use, similar to Stacy Westfall's but at a fraction of the price.
