It's a little longer than the others I use for liberty work, and it really helps me guide my horse's back end without tripping over a long end. It's simple to use and has a pleasant feel to it. I marked it to prevent it from being lifted. I'm sure it'll be a favorite at the clinic!.
These whips were purchased in pairs. And at a cost of $13, it's a no-brainer. It was a good deal for XX each. They save my daughter from having to reach back and smack the horse to get him to move. These whips are a good length and still provide enough encouragement to get the horse moving. The rubber gripper on the handle is excellent and provides a secure grip. The only minor flaw is the flick part, which is already unraveling and was done by one of them the second time it was used. It's still good, and I'd buy it again without hesitation.
For my quarter horse, it's the perfect length.
For my small hands and 17-hand horse, it's the perfect size.
This whip was broken when it arrived, but I was able to repair it. I'm not sure if it'll withstand regular use.
I was able to repair it with some liquid stitch after it arrived broken. We'll have to wait and see how long it lasts.
Even before I used the whip, one of its parts broke off. I had to use superglue to reattach it. We'll have to see how long it lasts. Otherwise, it's a good product that I'll use.
It's a nice comfortable and grippy handle, which I use as a schooling whip. It is strongly suggested.
