Questions & Answers

To be used with this item, you should use a practice bat and not a game bat. Could you please give me a recommendation for a good practice bat?

With many of the composite bats children use today, the bat manufacturers do not recommend hitting batting machine balls, or other tools such as this - this is probably due to the fact that kids often use composite bats. The end of which is made of really hard plastic. It is true that real baseballs have a greater 'give' than their virtual counterparts. The amount of time makes little difference for little kids You could potentially put your $300 sweet game bat in jeopardy when the target turns 11 or 12, and is hitting with much more force. When my son plays BP, he uses an old 'dead' bat, and when he plays tournaments, he uses a good 'game' bat.

Would this be a baseball or softball glove? Some of the softball heads have been larger than others. It is necessary for Rookie league that I have a smaller baseball head. ?

Hi Richard We have a smaller baseball head trainer for you today. It is recommended for primarily baseball players to use this trainer. Feel free to tell us if you have any other questions or You can expect a response from us within 24 hours. I wish you the best of luck in Please accept my sincere thanks.

This product is rated 13U. Would it be okay? Does he weigh about 200 pounds and stand 5 feet 10 inches tall?

You should be fine if the person holding it for him is close in height to him, and if they can hold onto it even with a stronger person hitting it

How is this the same thing as the Sklaz hurricane category 4 except someone has to hold it?

It is true that this trainer requires someone to hold the stick. A good thing about this is that it lets the person holding it control the height and depth of the ball as he or she hits it. When it comes to automated ones, the ball is placed in the same spot every time, which is certainly not the same in a game setting.

In every way, it exceeded my I am amazed
5/5

I think this is a fantastic product. I find it hard to believe that this only cost He absolutely loves it, and has been swinging 100 times a day. He had never liked doing indoor practice swings and now he does it 100 times daily and hundreds more on weekends. It is easy to see how much improvement he has made. As he continues to swing repeatedly, his muscle memory will develop, which will allow him to focus on swing mechanics rather than game situations when competing. I have no issues with either the bat or the training stick, and the manufacturer recommends that hitters do not use their 'performance' bats with the swing trainer, but my guy has been using his big bat all along, and they have not shown signs of wear. The ball is being hit so hard that I am amazed it doesn't shatter into pieces, but it is solid and in the same condition it was when we received bats with the trainer, but there are no issues with using the It's possible the warning is meant to help protect the bat, but this bat is top shelf, and it is fine. I would expect there would be some damage to a lesser quality A ball/stick of practice can be considered strong if it is that hard.

This is outstanding! My daughter is a 6 year old, and I have been using this product with her
5/5

Softball is her first season, and she is very excited about it. During her swing, she suffered a serious injury. It is obvious that this would be the case. Earlier today, she was 3 for 3 on the day. She has said that this product helped with correcting her swing from a chop to a level one.

There is no need to worry about disappointment
5/5

You don't need to buy the other junk out there when you can use this. You will improve your child's eye-hand coordination as well as their hitting ability. I have spent a lot of money on this or that to make it look neat and to make it work. I have even seen infomercials which I thought, yeah, Not at all. Spending money is a waste of time and Do not waste your money on them balls on a sting operation. There is no way to get them to.

A team that has taken a lot of beatings over the season
4/5

The stick is easy to hit and has lasted well so far this I like it Good Color, easy to see in the afternoon, easy to hold, strap handy* Bad Size, not as big as advertised, but very difficult to fit into a purse. Threads are almost coming off of the strap
I don't really see much benefit to it, it really isn't much more than a warm-up As long as that's all you plan to use it for, it will be fine.

An excellent investment that will last for many years to come
5/5

Coaches like me abuse hit sticks quite a bit as part of our baseball practice. Over the past two years, it has held up quite well. There's a good chance we'll be able to do it for another year or two. Teaching swing mechanics and warming up on deck hitters are great reasons to use it.

This is an excellent training program for young hitters
4/5

As my eight year old son had forgotten some fundamentals, I got him this and it really helps him focus on seeing the ball and putting the wood (aluminum in this case) to it and making it sound as if the ball is well in his hands. The program can be easily used. Younger kids might enjoy using this tool since it does not involve much force. If you apply a lot of force here, it may cause stress on the person's wrist. As well, this is perfect for households with limited outdoor space or those who live inside. Hitting tool that is very useful.

I'm very happy with this product
5/5

Having owned two of them, this is the second one. The first one I bought got lost. I lost the product and had to buy the second one. This is a fantastic product for coaching young ball players on their mechanics and warming them up before I agree with answer 9)!.

You should buy one so you can train with your child
5/5

To get my son hyped up for a game, I use this trainer. To perform at his best at age 8, he would need to get aggressive and pumped up before a game (such is the case for most kids this age). By using the hit stick prior to the game, I was able to immediately see where he stood with the amount of effort he put into hitting the ball. It only took a few minutes for me to get him focused and ready to "swing away. " This is a quite impressive achievement for a plastic stick with a ball on the end. SKLZ zip- ties are something we use on a regular basis When training at home, use a Goalrilla Spring Trainer and hit the ball.
