Questions & Answers

When considering height from ground to top, what is the exact height at corners where height is the tallest? This is for indoor purposes and every inch counts. ?

The sides of my headboard are 8' 2" tall after assembly.

As if I were pitching towards it, I would be able to use it as a backstop. Foul balls must be kept out of my area behind me. ?

I don't understand what you are trying to say. Generally, it is considered a good backstop in the sense that it will stop a pitch. If the batter is in the middle of the field, the net can't do much about foul balls that aren't returned directly to the batter.

This device can be used to perform volleyball drills like serving and spiking?

It is the best net I have ever owned, especially with its size. I'm sure the center catch will be able to keep a volleyball from falling through. It is driven into by my older kids from 3 feet away using composite bats and 12" softballs. This heavy, sturdy base is a great addition to any home.

For a comparison with 7x7 PowerNet, please see the attached video
5/5

On the left side of my video you'll see the 8x8 PowerNet XLP PRO, and on the right side of the video you'll see a 7x7 PowerNet. There have been no stakes used to hold the nets to the ground, so in this way I am simulating their behavior in a garage or if they were hung from a tree. If you're like me, then click here. You don't want to use stakes because you're lazy. I hit a ball into an 8x8 XLP PRO net for the first time. For the second, the ball trickles. The bounce-back With 8x8 net, backs are not so common, but at least they are not that big As a result, it's not an issue. On the other hand, the 7x7 net is more inclined to bounce compared to the previous grid I'm going back. Additionally, it sometimes allows the ball to push through all the way ahead, and sometimes gets knocked over entirely. If you hit the net near the top, you are most likely to experience these problems. In comparison with the 7x7 XLP PRO net, the 8x8 XLP PRO net offers the following advantages Please note
The ball is less prone to bouncing- Back to you. It is true that bounce-backs are quite common It's rare to see a back when using the 8x8 XLP PRO. Please note
Having a large size means stopping the ball faster whether it is a ball hit, a pitch, a throw, or anything else. The garage is an especially important place for this. Please note
With Velcro, the entire bottom of the net is attached to the frame, rather than just in the middle, making it more difficult for the ball to slip underneath. Please note
In a garage, it makes less noise thanks to its big rubber feet. Please note
Frames made from heavier materials. 7x7 net is beneficial from the following points Please note
It is smaller. It is about six inches shorter when folded up in its bag, which makes it a bit easier to fit into a trunk when folded up. Please note
A cheaper alternative. The following other considerations should be considered Please note
A net 8' tall will not fit into the XLP PRO 8x8 net, nor will a net 7' tall fit into the 7x7 net, due to gravity. As you can see from the attached video, I am 5' 11" tall and the 7x7 net is just about the height of me. Please note
It has not shown up yet since I submitted it just now, and someone has to check it to make sure that it is relevant and suitable for all age groups.

A heavy hitter needs a durable and portable tool
5/5

In order to practice my tee shots at home, I looked for a net that could be set up easily and that I could use at home easily. I am a power hitter and I wanted to make sure the net would last and was not just intended The PowerNet has been a great experience for me! The net is set up in the back yard in about half an hour and I have two buckets of balls in it, all in the back yard, and then it's back in its carry bag inside the house! It was exactly what I was looking for. It appears that the fiberglass rods and net are constructed well since they are extremely sturdy and look In the past, I have used heavier duty nets, but the catching basket on this one is much larger, allowing it to I found that after maybe 10 balls have been sat in it, line drives into the catching area turn the net into more of a trampoline. This is not the fault of the net, but you need to be aware and not sit a lot of balls in it. A tee of 8' is a great size for an adult, as it's big enough to move around the room without being too constrictive. Throughout the whole thing, I felt like I wasn't going to spit one out. As well as being very sturdy, the base is also quite strong. I'm glad I don't have to worry about the net moving around or being knocked over by the ball. With a real hard hit, I can move the feet slightly, but it's perfect for an adult. With Jugs Pro weighted base tee, this suits an adult perfectly. It's going to be a long journey for me with this setup and I'm very happy with it. In the event that anything bad happens to it, I will replace it if it lasts for longer than a season. PowerNet, thanks for the information.

The unit is large, rugged, convenient to use, and easy to install
5/5

In addition to how he is working on his swing with a private trainer, I wanted to purchase a hitting net in order for him to practice what he was learning in the cage and help It was important to me that the net was larger as my yard isn't a large one, and I didn't want to be opening my neighbors' houses to fresh air. Since the size is larger, I thought that it might prevent this from happening. My first impression of the package when it arrived was its size. The box was significantly larger than I expected. A bag like that for a three person tent seemed more like what I expected. The space should be about 4' long, with a depth of 8" and a width of 8". I like that this has a beefy folding base with a thick side pole and a steel folding base. As far as I know, the base just fits through the zipper, but the bag is big enough that it does not have to be stuffed in a particular way in order to zip up. Putting it up or taking it down and putting it in the bag takes less than 2 minutes after the first time setting it up. As a side note, I left the velcro straps attached to the base since that was the most time consuming part of the installation. All I have to do is ensure it doesn't get pinched in any of the folding pieces. The pocket is wide and tall enough to easily fit the 50-cent bill, and it is fairly easy to use The bucket I have in it contains 60 balls. hitting balls end up at the bottom and are dead ends. ball bounces back pretty dead on the stiff net area because of the give on it, so neither the hitter nor the coach need worry about getting hurt if they put balls on the T or do soft tosses. Due to the fact that I do not stake the screen down, the whole screen is very stable. The monitor doesn't slide or tilt.
When I bought this, I didn't have very high expectations, as I just wanted something I could As I have been using it nightly for the last week, it has exceeded all my expectations, and it would be my choice over the ones provided by the league.

The original is far superior to this
5/5

Those who loved the original standard size will love this one as well. Though heavier and not as small as the one from last year, it still is a fine choice. Setup and takedown are much simpler because the net no longer has to be completely removed from the bottom frame each time. It took us a couple of tries to figure out how to store it that allowed us to pull it in and set it up without getting tangled up with my legs. This is the next stop for me on the internet. Additionally, the added weight makes it more stable in the wind than the original. As far as I have seen, the only problem is that it is starting to show signs of wear at the ends and eventually will start to tear. As a result of our rough treatment of equipment, as well as the square corners on the frames, the frames are starting to bend. The fix should not be a big deal and doesn't change the fact that the new unit is much better than the old one.
