The 7x7 Powernet I have been using at least 3 times a week for the last year has been working flawlessly. The thing I used it for was T This year's ball practices were as good as last year's. I'm coaching machine pitch this season, so I purchased 2 Machom 7x7 nets for kids to hit into, while I'm using a Powernet for backstop / catcher. While the Powernet is a different brand, the design and setup is exactly the same. As you can see, there are some differences 1) The McHom netting appears to be made from a very thin I suspect it won't last as long as the Powernet
2) The sleeves on the McHom are made of thin plastic, while the Powernet is made of tougher vinyl (I think it's vinyl). The McHom How would you rate it? A good net for older kids or kids with less power, I guess. This is a good bang for your buck purchase since it costs approximately 2/3 the price of the Powernet. When you are careful with how you put these on and take them off, you should be able to get a long use out of them. If you're an adult, I would recommend getting the powernet or bownet because they have a much better quality net. My recommendation would be to replace it with a $30 Powernet net if the net wears out, but if you are careful with the net, it should last a while.
The following is a brief summary of the phenomenon My Bownet broke and I had to replace it with this net. Almost two years ago, I brought an old network to my house. I noticed that it had warped within a few months. If it were to hold its shape, it would lose it. There were a few small pieces missing. There seems to be no better replacement for it than this net. There's nothing to worry about when you use this net. I think it stands up even if an adult hits into it, because it is easy to assemble and made from strong netting. The ground stakes, which come with it, are a great idea if you want to hit it really hard.
