I bought these for my daughter to wear during her softball season in high school. There is no other brand like it. The guards are ok, but they slide outward and she has to adjust them just about every time she plays. I think the problem lies with the guard over the top of the foot. That piece is so tempting that we just want to cut it.

I love them, and my son does too. This is an awesome pair of shoes that feel really well built and look awesome.

It is a great weight, however the issue is a major one

This is a very lightweight pair of shoes, so we bought them initially for that reason. Provides the ability to move laterally very well, as well as drop to the block. Although I have the guards strapped on tight, they continue to spin on my legs because the shells are designed in a flat way. The only reason I continue to use them is because I do not have any other equipment. As much as I love the weight and the look of these, I would not recommend them because I have to straighten them out from pitch to pitch.
