I bought these for my 10 year old son with no problems. All Star's catchers' gear is excellent. This brand has never disappointed me and I have used it for years.

It's wonderful to be able to give these leg guards to my grandson. Because the ones from the league were always falling off, we bought new ones for him. Those were a perfect fit for him. It is possible to estimate the weight of 9 year old Matthew by measuring his height and weight. The legs are flexible enough to accommodate his very skinny legs, so there is enough room for growth. Every time he plays with them, he lets me know how happy he is.
