As a coach, I bought this glove for my 12u fastpitch softball team to use as a catchers glove. At first, the glove was quite stiff and I considered returning it since it was quite difficult for me to close it. Although I watched the YouTube videos about breaking in gloves on Wilson's website, I rinsed this glove with hot water as described and used Wilson's glove conditioner, then pounded it again as recommended The glove is now very comfortable to wear now that I have broken it in. I like that this glove is well made, durable, comfortable, and provides adequate protection for my hand. Anyone who's willing to break it in would definitely find it to be worth the effort.
I have still not been able to make the most of it after six weeks of constant use and breaking it in. The project is expected to be finished by Spring. She is quite happy with it and it was bought for a 10U player.
I think the mitt is of decent quality, but it did not come the way it was Gray mitts with white stitching and piping came with the order. In the event of a replacement, this one was also not as pictured. Wilson ball gloves are some of the ones that we own, and all of them are great. One problem is that the glove being shipped is not the same as what was Be aware of what you are doing.
