When I was a pro ball player for the Phillies, I used all sorts of brand names, including $300+ gloves. The one I enjoy the most out of all of them is this. The ball sticks well, is very comfortable, shapes however you like it effortlessly, and is very easy to maneuver! A baseball glove would be ideal
It only took a few days for mine to be damaged
Fresh from Rawlings, this glove boasts a brand new design. It has not been altered in any way.

Despite its price, this is not a cheapo glove - in fact, it's quite the opposite. It's a very fine piece of leather. A glove such as this one is very well made and you won't find another for under $90 that offers similar design. Do these gloves fit the Major League Baseball standard? Not at all. These range in price from $300 to $600. Do these gloves have enough strength for minors and high school students? Yes, I agree. I have no problem with that. Initially, I hesitated to buy the item because it was at such an affordable price. My initial reaction was very positive when it arrived. The Wilson glove oil mist worked well and I rubbed it in after that. This item was used by my son for about two weeks at practice and is now ready to go. At first, it did not have a good feel, but now it has a really nice feel and Oil it, give it a good workout, play catch with it a few times, and store with a ball in the pocket, and you'll have what you need in no time. This glove is well worth the money!.
Playing softball for the past 10 years, along with many years of baseball earlier, is my passion. It is the same glove I have from 2 years ago, which I only buy Rawlings. I have never owned a glove like the one I received, and it is the most miserable glove I have ever handled. This glove has been made extremely light while at the same time reducing the amount of leather. It will not take hold of a ball with the outer fingers. Throughout the weave, there are no pockets aside from dead center. The palm has extremely weak tendons. Because my old glove had worn out, I bought this one to replace it, and I had expected that the glove would at least have enough leather The glove was either faulty or manufactured so thinly that it is practically worthless. I've owned dozens of gloves over the years, but this one is either a dud or has been designed in a way that reduces the thickness of leather.
A Renegade line glove has become a staple in our closet. Furthermore, we carry the catchers mitt, and I'd say both of these gloves are good value if this isn't (There was a $35 deal on the first baseman's mitt. Even at that price, this is probably the best value you can find),
The catchers mitt has been ours since 2018 and still functions as it should. Each year I use my car for part time during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. The Facebook mitt was delivered in March 2020, it may take up to 4 months This is all of the five practices. (For more money) there are better gloves available that would hold up better and give you longer life. As I told my son, if you're a backup/part-time catcher or first baseman I think these are a decent option. Once the gloves have broken in over the course of a few warm days of catch, they will feel comfortable. The gloves fit a tall 9 to 11 inch woman. I am really good at dealing with 10yr/olds. Although the construction is good, it's the leather where they are keeping costs We may be able to get 3 or more seasons out of these gloves as backups. Ideally, I would think of it as a primary glove that will last two seasons. Since I am a part-time glove, I would definitely adopt this approach for my younger son when or if he needs it.
There isn't much else I can say about this Rawlings Baseball Glove other than three stars. Three strikes against it from my perspective are the following first, Vietnam is its country of origin. I avoid buying Vietnamese products if I know they're made in Vietnam despite the fact that most people will not care. A second, and much more important issue in my book is the tiny hand opening in this glove! My grandsons, one of whom is five, might be able to fit their hands into this glove without altering it, but I had to loosen all kinds of ties to get that opening even halfway large enough for my hand. Third, the glove is extremely stiff despite looking sturdy enough. Over time, I hope that will change, but I am not overly optimistic about it. It is possible that reviewers will My expectations were higher than what I received for the price - "What did you expect?" I expected more.
(Updated review below. ) This is the second time I've purchased a Renegade, LHT 1st base glove for my son, who is 13 years old. After having it for a little more than a year, he lost his first. This glove was so great that I splurged on one exactly like it. Were up and running in no time. There is a good chance that the glove will not last many years, but don't fret about it. The Renegade he carried was a little different from his other ones in that it had a relatively small cutout where the palm hinge was located. It does not appeal to me personally, however my son enjoys how it closes the glove. Due to the hinge, I took a star off. That hinge isn't for everyone, no matter how much he loves it. In my opinion, it's kind of bad that there are gloves designed that force you to close them in that way, and the hinge almost forces you to close them that way. As with the price, you cannot beat it. I would have paid $100. As a competitive travel ball player, he can easily hit 70+ mph across the diamond, and it doesn't hurt his hand so don't assume that the glove is only for little league. The August 2021 update has been published. It has been about a year and a half since we bought the glove, and it has become very When I said I was concerned about this "newer" model with the hinge in the corner, I was surprised to find that it is a very different glove than the same model. It is easier for you to close the glove, but the way you have to close it when closing may not be your favorite. After 18 months, the glove has become too floppy to take some scoops and now you have to catch it in the pocket with very little room for error. The quality of the product is as good as it can be. With limited action, I definitely expected more than 18 months before having to replace the glove despite the fact that he is not an every day first baseman. This is still a good game for younger kids, but not for older ones who will use it almost every day.
The 31 was right for me. For my son, I have bought him a 5 inch catcher's mitt. The 11U travel and rec leagues are a great fit for him. Since he is now catching 11 and 12 year olds at the top level of Little League, his earlier catchers mitt seems a bit small. There is no need for him to get used to it right away. It's a bit bigger, so it will require some getting used to, but it is not as big as a 32-inch glove he will likely need for Babe Ruth It is a genuine leather glove that I would recommend for anyone competing in a highly competitive 11- and 12-man league This youngster is 12 years.
