There should be more adhesive on the Velcro. I would recommend this glove to those who are just starting out. She is starting school at age 4 and is in the T-Section An object. This Velcro allows your child to tighten the glove around their hand, but the Velcro isn't as sticky as I would prefer since it is prone to coming loose. The quality of the glove is not so good. It's almost guaranteed that it's not a Franklin glove when I bought this glove and another one size larger. As big as the other thing, the shape was weirdly deformed, and the size was the same as it was the other time. There was another one that was only $6 more and was of better quality.
