Left handed throw is mentioned in the description, does that mean the glove is for the left hand and the throw is with the right hand?

That's not the case, I believe. Earlier this week, we purchased a right hand throwing The left hand of my son is used for catching, while the right hand is used for throwing.

What would this do for me if I played in the pro league?

I like how this is a well-built glove that can withstand wear and tear. Many elite players opt for A2000s if that is what you mean by playing pro.

I bought this glove for my 12 year old son who plays first base and weighs 125 pounds and stands 5'3". You'll need to break in the glove online to use it, as it is stiff when it is delivered. I was afraid to get the glove wet, but it's necessary because you won't have time to break it in by playing with it. We used boiling water and a mallet as advised on line. The glove came out perfect.
