I bought two pairs of shoes: Clean Up Baseball pants in white and grey from Under Armour for boys. br>br>My son is 14 years old, stands 5'8 inches tall, and weighs around 160 pounds. br>He is a baseball player in high school, and these are perfect for him. br>I looked at adult sizes, but the youth XL was still the best fit for him. br>br>What I like about these pantsbr>1. Quality: We've been wearing Under Amour baseball pants for a few years now, and the quality has held up well. At the very least, there will be constant movement and sliding. No tears. After a full year of use, there is no loose stitching.
2. Price: For something that will last more than a season, the price is excellent. We only purchase new ones because they appear to be cleaner and more sharp. The older ones are still in use for drills.
3. Fit: We tried the adult sizes and found that the crotch area is a little big and the legs are a little baggy. Because of his weight and height, we recommend the youth size. br>br>Negativesbr>None that we've had with these pants. br>br>I'd buy them again and recommend them to others.
We tried on a lot of different pairs of baseball pants (including other Under Armour styles) before finding ones that fit my tall, slender son. These have a snug waistband and will fit a slimmer child with the addition of a baseball belt. For a 6-foot woman, they might be too tight in the waist. a child of eight years old These pants have been washed several times per week and stains have been easily removed.
We ordered a black small for our tall 7-year-old (he stands 4' 6 inches tall and weighs 65 pounds). These pants should last us for at least two seasons. We got him some grey pants as well, which aren't as sheer as some baseball pants.
I tried to size up from a medium to a large because the mediums were too small for his feet. The youth large size was a significant improvement over the medium size.
He was dressed in a UA Large size (a different style). It appears to be a bit cramped. As a result, I placed an order for the XL size. This, on the other hand, was a LOT BIGGER AND LONGER than Large. I couldn't keep it and had to give it back. br>Because it is thinner, this style is also ideal for summer.
It was a little too big around the waist. For my 8-year-old son, we bought these pants in a youth small. In jeans, he usually wears a size 8. This is an excellent match. Although the waist was a little loose, they looked great with a belt. These pants are excellent in terms of quality. These will most likely last the entire season. We paid a little more than usual for these, but it was well worth it.
These are cool on hot days, but they don't provide much in the way of protection from sliding and aren't very long-lasting. Within a few wears, the knees had torn. These have let me down.
For the price, these pants are excellent, though they do have a tendency to stain. After a muddy game, it was extremely difficult to clean them. That is my only criticism. Excellent value for the money!.
