Questions & Answers

Is this something that women would wear?

Yes! I'm wearing a small, but you can make it fit. This is something I really enjoy.

How long does the foam part of this thing last? I'm trying to figure out what size I need because I don't have a belt, and the only one I've found is 29" long. Is that just the foam?

My belt's foam alone is 27 inches long. 5”. I hope this has been of assistance.

Is this suitable for regular water aerobics, such as in a 3-person pool? 5' or just deep water aerobics (I'm 5"2')?

Although the product was designed for deep water exercise, it will also work well for regular aqua aerobics.

ON THIS PRODUCT, STAY AWAY FROM SPEEDO AND AMAZON
3/5

I bought this Speedo Aqua Water Jogger Belt for my wife to use in the pool for water aerobics, and she loved it- She didn't use it again until she'd used it for about a week. After one month, the foam on the belt's side began to tear. When I checked the warranty stated on the item description, it stated that the item had a 6-month warranty, but when I wound my way through the return/replace pages, it stated that the item was no longer eligible for return. What's going on here? I am extremely dissatisfied with both Speedo and Amazon, and I am open to suggestions on how to rectify the situation.

I like the idea of the running water belt, but it's falling apart after only a month of use
3/5

I try to treat it gently and wipe it down after each use, but pieces of the foam continue to fall away. I require such a belt because I suffer from severe back pain and have been advised by medical professionals to spend as much time as possible in the water, as it is the only place where I can walk without experiencing severe pain. I will gladly send photos of the belt as it is today, with huge gouges in the top and bottom, to Amazon or the Speedo people. It continues to hold me up, and as I indicated, I desperately need the device. I will try to contact someone at Amazon who can assist me with my problematic Made in China product by Speedo, which is literally and physically falling apart. As I indicated, the idea is wonderful, and for a few days while it held up, I was completely captivated.

The term "inexpensive" does not imply "cheap
5/5

" I recently purchased and promptly returned a fitness belt from a bathing suit outlet because it was dreadful. I sent it back because it was bulky and inflexible. I've also spent a lot of money on them. This is ideal: it's flexible enough to tighten while also being dense enough to provide good flotation. I'm a big fan of the rounded edges all over. One reviewer stated that it rides up, which appears to be the case with all of them, at least when your shape clearly separates your waist from other bady parts, and suggested using a belt to keep it in place. I'm a good sewer, so I figured out how to make a strap that wraps around the legs and is attached at the front and back of the belt, similar to the swing sets for small children. I was able to find the same red webbing and black hooks, so it appears to be complete. To keep it from rubbing, I used a 1 inch strap underneath. I am very pleased with this belt and would strongly suggest it.

When I was in the water, the buckle came undone
3/5

Non-professionals are at risk. swimmers. It's well-made and simple to use, which I appreciate. Maintains afloatness for non-swimmers - One person who weighed more than 225 pounds and had never swum before was able to float and swim with it. Unlike individual blocks strung on a ribbon, it sits flat and level on the back. Overall, this was an excellent purchase.
Edit: The buckle came undone in the water, so I'm downgrading from 5 to 2 stars. We were fortunate enough to be near a noodle, which we could use to help us float. Otherwise, it is regarded as non- This could have been extremely dangerous in the deep end for swimmers. I'll see what I can do to get it back to you.

This product is fantastic, and I bought it after reading a review from an adult woman who couldn't swim and wanted to gain more confidence in the water
5/5

I used to be in the same boat as you. This belt kept me afloat and comfortable without the "wobble" that comes with swimming and staying in control. This gives me confidence! I wanted it so that I could feel comfortable snorkeling with my friends. Within 30 minutes of putting this on, I was finding ways to practice for our upcoming trip ALL OVER THE POOL. I bought it used, and I'm thinking about getting a couple more just in case something happens to my current one. Despite the fact that it is well-made and the product's integrity is excellent. This product is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED; I searched the internet and couldn't find another. I'm guessing it'll end up in the carry-on. on, regardless of how clumsy!.

I use it for working out and swimming in my pool, and it's a great all-around jogbelt
5/5

Because I can't swim, this or a pool noodle, which I've been using, is required. The jogbelt does rise up to or near my arm, which can be annoying at times, but I usually don't notice, and it does keep me upright so I can jog, as well as keeping me afloat when I'm swimming. When I'm wearing it, I like to float around on my back. I've had it for about a month and it's still in good condition. I believe that any jogging belt will ride up close to the underarm because nothing prevents it from doing so.

I love my aqua belt, and today was the first time I used it in a busy pool
5/5

I'm 140 pounds and have a 30" waist, so the S/M size is ideal for jogging in the water. I made sure it was really tight, so it didn't rise up like some people claim. This floating device will be beneficial to people who are unable to run or walk due to back and/or knee problems. This device comes highly recommended by me for those who want to do water aerobics.

Materials are of poor quality
3/5

The belt worked, but it was a little stiff and uncomfortable. The issue is that after a year and a half of use, the belt itself rotted. It wasn't left out in the sun, but it was used in the sun while we were swimming in a lake. The Aqua Jogger cannot be used without its belt. When I contacted Speedo customer service, they stated that while the item was still available for purchase, they would not sell a replacement belt and that the item was no longer covered under warranty, so there was nothing they could do. When I explained that all I wanted was to buy a belt, they said there was nothing they could do and wished me a pleasant day. This item should not be purchased; there are better options available.
