I'm not sure you'll be able to unwind. To use it properly, you must engage your core; otherwise, it will tilt you forward in the water. Even if you just wanted to sit in the water and not jog, you'd have to engage in order to stay upright. But if you want to jog without any impact, it's definitely worth it; I lost 19 pounds in three months.

What a fantastic water exercise belt! This Aqua Jogger belt is specifically designed for people with larger stomachs. I was concerned that it wouldn't fit around my large apple-shaped head. It did not, however, have a shaped waist. Yay! I was exercising by walking, but I developed plantar fasciitis. My physical therapist recommended that I walk/run in the water, so I joined my local YW and read a lot of reviews on Amazon for the various water belts available. I'm so glad I chose this one (based on excellent reviews and the size of my stomach), because when I arrived at my YW, I discovered a whole shelf of far inferior water belts that I was relieved not to have to use (the other brands were made of much thinner foam and had belts that were narrower and already losing their elasticity). When compared to other water belts, Aqua Jogger's superior craftsmanship and materials stand out. Okay, I feel a little silly standing in a public pool, but the results have been well worth the minor embarrassment of being "different. " " This Aqua Jogger Shape Pro Belt comes highly recommended from me.
I'm a 57-year-old man with plantar fasciitis in my left foot that has been bothering me for a few years. I couldn't walk long distances without pain, and I couldn't run either. So I've put on a few pounds and gotten out of shape, but using the Aqua Jogger has introduced me to a whole new world of exercise. br>br>I can now get in a good workout without having to worry about my feet hurting. br>br>Just a word of warning. Start out slowly if you're not used to physical activity because it's easy to overdo it in the water, which I did, and your body will feel it for 3 or 4 days afterwards, so start out slowly!.
"Hypertension," as my doctor describes it, is a condition that I have. Sacroiliac joints that can move around. " I enjoy water aerobics, but it causes me a lot of pain in this area of my back when I do it every day. This belt gives my lower back enough support to allow me to exercise every day in the pool!.
I aqua- I've done a lot of pool jogging and have probably tried every belt brand out there - This is by far the best.
Because of certain medications I take, I have severe pain and inflammation in my knees and ankles, making running or even walking difficult. I've been taking this supplement for almost a month and eating a low-fat diet. I've lost nearly 20 pounds by exercising for an hour every day with my AquaJogger. It makes working out more enjoyable than it has ever been before!.
I've gone through a few of these belts because one of my dogs treats it like a giant chew toy by the end of the summer. br>br>So far, this one is the best because it stays put. I've had them before that kept slipping up and refusing to stay in place, causing me to have difficulty exercising. br>br>Be sure to choose one with a belt that goes all the way around. Also, make sure they aren't left in the pool as a canine temptation.
They are well-made and do a good job of supporting and stabilizing you in the water. This is something I would strongly recommend to anyone who needs to be stable in the water. They dry quickly and have a pleasing color, if that is important to you. I've had mine for quite some time and they're still going strong.
Love it.
