Questions & Answers
I would suggest the Fit belt or the Active belt, with the Fit belt being contoured for women with shorter waists. Because you are on the shorter side, I believe this is the most comfortable option for you. The Active belt is cut and contoured in the same way as the Fit belt, but the Active comes with a less expensive black belt, whereas the Fit comes with an elastic, more durable black belt; both will provide you with the same amount of buoyancy and a high-quality workout.
I am 5'3" tall and weigh approximately 123 pounds. I'm a size 6 or 8, depending on what I'm wearing. I've tightened mine up as much as it can go in order to make it fit. br>Here's the conundrum: The smaller belt may not provide enough bouyancy if you are lean and your weight is mostly muscle mass. I used to teach aqua aerobics classes (which were a lot of fun!). We had belts that were not shaped to the body when we did deepwater classes, and we had belts that were not shaped to the body when we did deepwater classes. I wore a small because it was the right size for my waist. But it couldn't keep me upright long enough to lead the class (I sank to my chin!). I used two as a result. br>br>I bought this belt in preparation for meniscus surgery and a hiking trip to Tennessee two months later. I was in great shape for hiking after doing my 'puddle aerobics' in Rainbow River's natural springs. I absolutely adore my belt!
Hello, my waist is 40" and I have 4 inches of flap pulled through the buckle when I tighten the belt. It is effective while swimming. One of my favorite features is that when you wear this belt, your body is completely free to move around. I'm 255 pounds.
This may or may not be true depending on your body fat percentage. I'm a small person (5'3" and 123 lbs). When I used to teach water aerobics, I noticed a difference in my bouyancy with a belt if I gained a few pounds - or they've been misplaced. I sank more when I lost body fat. I was in good shape back then - I had to wear their smallest belt with a larger belt over it while doing deep water classes (they didn't look like this belt - They were more in the shape of giant curved yellow french fries)br>br>I work out at Rainbow Springs, a natural spring with a swimming area, with my AquaJogger, waterproof bluetooth headphones, and a waterproof phone pouch. It has kept my head, neck, and shoulders above water for the past two summers. I like how it balances me out, and it's a comfortable fit as far as these types of things go. When it comes to how bouyant I am in the water, my body fat percentage, not weight, is the deciding factor, just like with the belts I used years ago. br>br>Now that I'm 62, my waist is around 26 or 27". My WAIST is the part of my body that I miss the most! ) When I tighten the belt, there's about an inch and a half of 'gap,' which may be significant to you.

It supports my weight and does not sag. The belt is adequate in length. I've been using it for three weeks, three times a week for 40 minutes each time, and I've already noticed a difference in how my pants fit. This is something I would strongly suggest.
This aqua jogger is fantastic. I go to PT in the water three times a week because I have a hip problem. I liked the exercises I learned at PT so much that I decided I needed a belt at home so I could do my water workout seven days a week. This was an excellent investment for me because the only form of exercise I can get right now is in the water. When I'm water jogging, the belt is comfortable and doesn't ride up. This belt is not only comfortable, but it also works well for the water pilates I've learned. Because my feet can't touch the bottom of the pool when I'm working out, this was the ideal solution for me. Good luck with your jogging!.
I got it because it's starting to get hot and humid in Houston, and I don't want to go for a walk in the oppressive, soupy heat. The Aquajogger belt is ideal for use in the pool's deep end. It's more difficult than I expected, but it's pleasant because the water keeps you cool. It does run up the back of my neck a little. even if I super-tighten it tightness in the area of my hips That, however, is not an issue for me. I'm still able to jog/run and do a variety of exercises. I get bored easily and must listen to music to pass the time. I adjust my movements to the beat and create a "routine" for each song, so that when the music changes, I switch to a different exercise; it's a great way to work several major muscle groups at once.
This summer in Pennsylvania, we opened our swimming pool. Because the original model is bulky, I chose to purchase this narrower version. I prefer this model, but it is more expensive. I'm not sure why it is more expensive, but it is exactly what I was looking for. The light purple color is also one of my favorites. It goes well with a few of my favorite swimwear pieces.
The elastic belt is the main selling point for me, as it loosens slightly in the water if you put it on too tightly. I've found that webbed belts loosen a lot and float around your neck. A bonus is included. Amazon is a good place to look for replacement belts. I receive a lot of positive feedback!.
I suddenly have a strong desire to paddle around in deep water, 17 years later. I'm petite, and I've previously struggled to find a belt that was small enough to fit snugly around my waist while also providing enough bouyancy to keep my head and neck above water. PERFECT! br>br>THIS IS PERFECT! br>It's also very comfortable. br>br>I use water work as part of my knee rehab after artrhoscopy, so this will be put to a lot of good use.
Keeping this belt in place was a challenge. It climbed higher and higher. I've tried out a hydrofit fabric belt and am very pleased with it. It was unavailable on Amazon, and I was unable to obtain it from the manufacturer in time for my vacation. This Aqua Jogger belt was a complete waste of money and did not perform as expected.
It fits and stays in place better than the pre-pandemic bulk ones. The belt is made of durable materials. It's a good fit for a petite woman with a wide hip.
