What is the weight of these fins?

Since I don't have a scale so I can't weigh it, I'm guessing it might be between 1 and 2 pounds Weight is one half pound each, but when they are under water it doesn't have an effect at all when you are using the fins as I'm not sure why the weight would be an issue considering this is a fantastic product. I love these fins and would buy again. These fins would be perfect for training. It is my hope that that helps.

Selected User Reviews For Speedo Biofuse Swim Training Fins

I was in love the moment I swam! This set of fins keeps the knees of my arthritic leg in alignment, and they are terrific! After a long period of inactivity due to health problems, I am just beginning to swim again
5/5

For reference, I am 45 years old, can barely walk, have bone on bone arthritis, and had arthroscopic knee surgery (to remove loose bone fragments) a few months back. Before choosing these, I researched and considered all my options since I must take so much care with my knees. The shape at the ends of the pipe). Today was my first day swimming laps at the pool. I received them today. Love at first swim? Yes, that's the verdict! The first thing I did was put them on when I warmed up, and did not take them off (except for a few laps to test my form) for a solid 90 minutes of swimming laps - The alignment of my kicking remained the same, which is challenging for me due to knee discomfort and muscle weakness that has resulted from lack of activity. Initially, I was concerned about rubbing and blisters, but they fit my feet perfectly, with no issues at all. The size 9 on my clothes is for women. Having a size 5 in athletic shoes, the medium was a perfect fit for me. The width of my heels is narrow and the width of my feet is medium, but because I have previously suffered stress fractures in my feet, I prefer shoes that fit wider. There are very few shoes that fit me this well right away, and I rarely find something that feels this nice right away! There were a few Keifer fins, Cruiser models, and the small size Keifer fins that were too narrow for me and too painful to wear for more than a couple laps, but the medium size was too large, even with swim socks on. I think you've got it just right! These seem to have a neutral buoyancy, while Keifer fins may float on top of the water while in use, but I do not feel strained in my back with these. Keifer fins made it harder for me to maintain my foot alignment while kicking, which resulted in some very painful moments for me. This set of fins seems exactly what I've been looking for! Despite being soft, the silicone heel and footbed are really comfortable, and the fin part is pretty firm, but doesn't feel as hard as a body surfing fin (say, Churchill). The majority of reviewers have stated that these fins feel heavy, but for me, that was not the case. There are foam-based products that are available The kind that float (the kind that keeps your feet above water) may feel lighter and keep you from sinking, and the racing type of fins may propel you through the water a little faster, but I find that these are the just right In my case, because I have weak muscles and knee problems, I am unable to walk without a cane, so I cannot understand why reviewers say these fins are heavy - It seems to me that if I can use them without falling asleep, then you should be able to use them easily as well! I was able to keep my feet just above the surface of the water, and I adjusted to them quickly after just a few *I experienced less knee pain using these fins than I had with my Keifer Cruiser fins, or swimming without fins. I believe I got a great workout with these fins as well! The tear in my right rotator cuff prevents me from using my right arm at the moment, so I swam laps without my right arm for 90 minutes. The effectiveness of these fins for a person who swims breaststroke or butterfly is not my subject since I cannot swim in either of these ways - In order to avoid damaging my knees, I can only do the sidestroke, crawl, freestyle, or backstroke (though I'll not be using my arms It was easy to focus on my form with these fins instead of the water, which is what a training fin should do. swimming some laps while wearing fins, followed by a few laps without them, to encourage muscle memory. I noticed that my form is improving already. During the remainder of my swim session, the shoes were put back on because they felt great and I wasn't looking for too much leg toning or cardio. Perhaps at a later time I'll use a different type of fin if I want to go faster, but since I'm not racing anyone or pursuing a shark in the water I think these fins are perfectly fine for what I need. It is not my obligation to give a review, nor did I receive a discount for doing so- Since I bought the Speedo Biofuse fins at full price, I'm sharing my thoughts because reviews are extremely useful for me when purchasing items online. I hope this helps you in your decision, and that you enjoy them as much as I do. As far as this program goes, it's great! I will update my review if needed.

They're the best flippers around! Feel the waves as you float through! It's really nice to have them
5/5

These gave me exactly the boost I needed in order to begin mastering the butterfly stroke, which I was not mastering prior to using these trainers. As if you were a dolphin, they give you the ability to glide. Through them I learned how to do the flips and built up my strength to the point where I no longer need them. There was no issue with 5) but that was not a problem. They are very comfortable and I use them for my workouts. My boyfriend got some for himself as well. My opinions are my own. I have not been given any free gifts or discounts to facilitate my Therefore, I make no representations or warranties of any kind.

I have had them for 4 weeks before one of the toes cracked
3/5

There is an error in the size chart for the L grey shoe. I purchased a size 9 in L grey shoe. When I clicked place your order, I was thinking about ordering the XL black shoe size 11- however, I paused at first unsure I would actually order it My mind conjured up images of receiving clown shoes instead of shoes for the age of 12. In my case, I was very disappointed with the product I received, which prompted me to write a review in order to help customers avoid making the same mistakes as I did. You should be aware that this is a very bad product. I am not alone in complaint about the same issue, there are other users who have the same complaint as well. I appreciate it.

Fins that are great for swimming
5/5

The previous pair of swim fins that I owned did not meet my needs. I needed a new pair that would primarily be used while swimming laps. It is with much gratitude that I add my review on this topic in response to the time and effort the other reviewers have put into it. Fins have caused me to get red marks on my feet when they are too tight and crowd my feet. Having had fins that feel good but left blisters on my heels and toes after swimming more than 20 minutes in them, I never swam in them for long. The fins wouldn't stay on when I tried larger sizes. The size of my shoe is There are deformities in my feet such as crooked toes, claw toes, and bunion deformities, so I have to find shoes with wide toeboxes. However, wide width shoes will not fit me because my heel will lift off the ground. have always assumed that this is why the fins my sister or friends used worked for me but not for them. Several previous reviewers had mentioned how these films provided comfort to them when dealing with the effects of having a deformed toe, so I decided to give them a go. The sentiment is exactly what I feel. Those who wear them report feeling The fins give me a great workout in my lower leg area. In fact, I now wear them at the beginning of every workout and swim with them for the whole time. Swimmers with fins have a lot more fun in the water. There are no blisters or sore red lines on my feet after wearing the shoes, or the heels do not slip. It's a tight fit, and they don't When I swim, the shoes stay on my feet securely. Contrary to some other fins I've tried, this one is easy to put on and take off. You'll want to keep them!.

Realizing the size of a Despite the lack of a size chart, It is my fault that I A review size chart by KD was used to determine my size However, the information was not as helpful as I had thought It's off by one on every size here's the chart that came with my package, and you're supposed to know that it's a men's size chart and that converting it to a women's size chart isn't that simple

Bricks affixed to your feet are fine if you want to swim
3/5

It has been about 17 years since I purchased a pair of speedo training fins. The swim trunks I had always been wearing were a little tight, so when my son started swimming with me I decided to upgrade them. They are nearly always worse, except that they are worse in almost every respect. Their weight is about double that of a human. Your kick is not accentuated by them. In fact, they force you to drop your stance in a non-productive way when you are doing the backstroke. You can forget about flying. You run the risk of your feet separating unnaturally because these are so bulky. It is best to keep in mind that I am comparing 17 year olds with the.
