Questions & Answers

If you drop these, do they float?

They have a hollow cylindrical shaft, which is both true and false. They float if there is enough air in the shaft. They sink, however, if the shaft has become filled with water. So don't expect them to float, but you never know. br>They're a close enough fit for me that they've never even hinted at accidentally coming out, though I do wish they were guaranteed to float.

Do these have the same shape as Mack's sillicone earbuds for you? How long do you think you'll be able to use them again?

These aren't shaped in any way. They have a hard center and a soft outer shell. Which aren't quite as soft as they appear. They can be used again and again. I'd rather use proxcide or plain old antibacterial soap and hot water to clean them. I had trouble getting them in my ears because they are a little wider than mine, and even when I did, they didn't block out any sound. It was as if I were submerged in water. The case, on the other hand, was fantastic.

What's the best way to install them? With my 7-year-old, I'm having trouble doing so?

It's possible that they're too big for your seven-year-old. Although they are designed for adults, my 11-year-old daughter enjoys them. they're suitable for wearing The right (R) and left (L) marks are important to note. Grasp the slender fin-like fin-like fin-like fin Place the round cylindrical part of the portion between your thumb and index finger and push it into the canal with the fin- On the right ear and opposite (1-), a similar part pointed upward backward and to about 10 or 9 o'clock. On the left ear (at 2 o'clock). You should be able to see how the fin is positioned in the ear's pina. If the external part of the cylinder sticks out too far and pushes the plug inward, especially if you're wearing a cap, cut it off with scissors or a utility knife. It doesn't belong there in the first place.

Is it safe to sleep with these earplugs?

They don't allow you to sleep well. They're made to keep water out of your inner ear while swimming. They don't do a very good job of blocking sound.

Wow! Amazing Earplugs that Worked Like a Charm! I bought these for a trip to the Caribbean, where I knew I'd be snorkeling and participating in a variety of water sports
5/5

br>Last year, I didn't have any ear plugs and ended up with so much water in my ears that I was completely deaf for three days before I realized I needed to get some. These were fantastic! br> They kept a seal even when the seas were rougher and the water was splashing over their heads. There isn't a drop of water in my ears! I'll be recommending it and buying more of it!.

These are fantastic for surfing, but not so much for competitive swimming! I have Surfer's ear from a lifetime of water exposure, and I've tried all the expensive "surf plugs" with little cords and the like, which help them get yanked out
5/5

Argh! I tried the wax ones as well, but they never sealed because wax and sand don't mix well. I put these on and love how they don't completely block out sound, allowing me to converse in the water while avoiding ear infections. I never lose them in the water; instead, I return them to their small case. As a preventative measure, I'll give some to both my sons and friends; the price is great. Try these at the surf shop if you're 18 or older.

Insertion that is more complicated: Having a second person to assist is extremely beneficial
3/5

Seating these in the ear channel is a time-consuming and tricky manoeuvre (for me). Maybe it'll get easier with practice, or maybe I'm just clumsy. However, each ear is unique. My suggestion is to make them different colors to make it easier to identify them: Either the left or right ear is to be considered. The etched L and R are difficult to see because they are so small. Maybe time will clear it up, and if it does, I'll come back and revise this.

Keeps the water out of the house
5/5

I've always had ear infections, and I've recently begun swimming, so I needed a way to keep my ear canal dry. I noticed that the molded silicone ones from Mack's were better rated by experienced swimmers, but I wanted something simple. So far, these have performed admirably. Because one of my ear canals is smaller than the other, I was concerned that they wouldn't work, but they have. They also rely on water pressure to form the seal, so you can hear better even when you aren't in the water. In my opinion, this is an excellent value. After 4 weeks of almost daily use, the silicone plugs are still holding up well, and the only time I've had water in my ears is when I didn't properly seal the seal. br>br>My only suggestion for improvement is that the carrying case be improved. It'll only be a matter of time before the latch on the supplied case breaks, and the ear plugs' soft silicone must be protected when not in use or they will deform/tear. At $5, buying another set every few months isn't a big deal, though I might look for a better carrying case to fit these.

Weird Ears is a song by the band Weird Ears that was released in Take a look at these
4/5

Because I believe I have odd ears, the molding aspect of these jobs appeals to me. I've only used them three times so far, so I'm still getting used to them. I do a lap to see if I need to adjust, and I do most of the time, but I believe this is a personal issue. I'm ready to go now that I've made the necessary adjustments. These lates are soft and lack the hard plastic, so with that, my cap, and goggle strap; I'm not bothered in the least.

Although it appears to be impressive, it is difficult to align and does not seal well in all conditions
3/5

Now I've gone out and purchased three pairs of earplugs in order to experiment with different styles. This one in particular appeared to be fantastic. I thought the curved section would help seal out water, but I was wrong; if you do anything aggressive, like a fast freestyle, a feet first jump, or a low dive, the surrounds will flap over and funnel water into your ear. br>br>Putting them in is also inconvenient; the left and right plugs are counterintuitively reversed in the case, and you have to get them perfectly clocked/positioned into your ear, or they won't seal. Standard straight plugs proved to be more effective.

I've never had any luck with it
3/5

I couldn't get these to work for me after numerous attempts. The design appears to work, but because of the asymmetrical nature of the design, I was unsure if they were installed perfectly straight, and I never got them to fit well, even after checking them in a dual mirror setup. I gave them back to you. I've looked at other ear plugs like this and noticed that they come in different sizes, so perhaps this type of ear plug requires the assistance of a doctor to ensure a proper fit.

It worked for a while, and the first set was excellent - I had only recently begun swimming and had no idea if I would continue, so I did not want to spend a lot of money on equipment
3/5

This was a good buy to see how it worked, but it only lasted a few months. If you know you'll be using it for a long time, I'd invest in a better product; otherwise, it'll suffice as a short-term "tester. ".
