I don't have time for them. After my son's tubes were implanted in his ears, my wife ordered these for him. (If you're reading this, it's because your child has recently had tubes implanted in his or her ears. ) CONGRATS! Your child has regained his or her original health. Our son enjoys being able to tune out mommy and daddy and just slip into his own world because they conform to the inside of his ears without being too intrusive. He also enjoys the fun colors and being able to tune out mommy and daddy. Many reviews claim that this product has stuck to the reviewer's ears or has become stuck INSIDE their ear canal. If they had read the instructions on how to use them, nothing like this would have happened. It's natural to believe that you insert these into your ear as a 'plug. ' And, to be honest, if they weren't designed to look like a plug, some of the confusion would be alleviated. br>However, if you take the time to read the instructions (especially if you bought them for your child), you won't make a mistake. br>I threw the package away, but the instructions are right there on the package for everyone to see. Flatten plugs with fingers, according to the Amazon instructions, which are very similar if not identical:br> Form to cover the outer ear until it is snug. At no point should you tear the plugs; instead, use the entire plug in each ear. DO NOT FORCE YOUR WAY INTO THE CANAL OF YOUR EARS. br>If you follow these instructions, you will not experience the problems that others have. br>These earplugs work perfectly and can be reused multiple times as long as there is no weird residue around your ear that would interfere with their adhesion.

These are absolutely fantastic!! This is my kind of stuff! I don't swim, but I use them every night to sleep in the noisy city of New York. For the past couple of years, I've been wearing standard soft foam earplugs. They do the job, but I've never liked how they poke into my ear canal. They were painful if they were too deep (especially since I sleep on my side and the pressure presses them in even more), and they didn't work as well if they were too shallow. In addition, when I take them out, my ear canal itches. I had to take them out several times to scratch them and then replace them. All for the sake of a good night's sleep, I was concerned about pushing earwax into my ear with them, and there was occasionally a pop sound when I removed them that made me concerned about my eardrums. Putty Buddies are incredible! br>br> They don't go into my ear canal and, in fact, I believe they block out more sound. When I sleep on my side, there is no pressure; it's almost as if they don't exist. These don't have any of the issues that the foam ones do. I don't think any other earplug could possibly be more effective. br>They're a little strange the first time you take them out because of the stickiness (my boyfriend said it looked gross), but after 1-week they're fine. After two applications, I was able to master them. br>It also takes a few tries to get the right amount. I simply cut one in half the first time. The size is excessively large. For both ears, I'd say I use a little less than two-thirds of one. However, everyone's hearing is unique. I am 100% satisfied

Another set of tubes was in my daughter's possession. Initially, I thought these were effective (though I agree with the comments that they can stick to hair and become gum-like). My daughter had another set of tubes inserted today, and the doctor removed a wad of putty from each of her ear plugs. There was an alarming amount that had built up in her ears over the times she had used these, and some even had skin starting to grow over them, to the point where removing them from her is causing her some ongoing pain (though I expect this to subside as the sore heals). Use at your own risk!.

I'm a 38-year-old adult with eustachian tube dysfunction who gets a new set of pressure tubes every few years as the old ones wear out. Going underwater isn't always a problem, but there are times when water just pours into my middle ear. I tried them out on a couple of snorkeling trips this past week (February 2018). There will be no issues. I first tried them on in the shower to see how they felt. To keep the gobs in place, gently press them into your ears, being careful not to jam them in too far or too hard. You can also use a headband to keep pressure on your ears. I was in the water for a couple of hours total, including several jumps into the sea (Caribbean salt water), and had no problems; definitely worth the small investment.

I bought ear plugs that looked like putty, but they wouldn't stay in! This is fantastic. I take one ear plug, cut it in half, roll it into a cone shape, and firmly press it into my three-year-old's ear. I can't say enough about how much I like these! I work in the medical field myself. This is the genuine article. If you're looking for children's earplugs, you've come to the right place. These are absolutely fantastic!!.
