We love the ear band-it so much that we just bought our second one this year. Last year, my son had tubes implanted in his ears, and he would not have been able to swim if it hadn't been for the ear band-it. My son's ear doctor recommended that we buy the ear band-it, so that's what we went with. We put the putty buddies ear plugs in him, then put the ear band-it on him, and he's good to go. br>When my son was two years old, we purchased an ear band-it in a small size, but because he has a large head, we had to purchase a medium size this year. So, when you go to buy the ear band, make sure you order it based on your head size, not the age recommendation, because it's just that. If you're thinking about getting an ear band, GET IT! I would strongly advise anyone interested in purchasing the ear band-it to do so. The ear band-it is very simple to put on and take off, but it stays in place very well, and my son is unable to remove it on his own.
My toddler, who is prone to ear infections, had a small ear band. If she doesn't wear one of these after the tubes, she gets infections. We bought the medium because the small was becoming too tight, but there is a significant size difference between the two. It's far too large, and the smaller size is even smaller. My daughter is three years old, but she is quite large for her age (she wears a size four). This is too big (I have 5 clothes). If you're close to her size and aren't sure what size to get, go with the smaller size; I don't regret it because she'll probably grow into it eventually, and the band is fantastic. There will be no ear infection if my daughter uses it when swimming. She always gets an ear infection if she doesn't use it (even if it's only for a few minutes).
This was purchased for our 4-year-old daughter, who has a perforated eardrum, to use in our pool. First and foremost, her head is extremely small, measuring no more than 20 inches in circumference (our two-year-old has a larger head), and the Medium Ear Band barely fits her. It takes a lot of effort to get it to velcro, but once it does, it works fine. ish, but it always ends up in her eyes while we're swimming. So we have to get her out of the water, remove the ear band, replace the ear plugs (which are likely to pop out without the ear band), and then try to reapply the ear band, which is inconvenient. We also have a problem with her getting a painful rash on her neck after swimming with it. We have sensitive skin as a family, but I can't recall anything else causing contact dermititis in the same way. I know it's not a true allergy because she swims in neoprene wet suits and has no problems. br>Perhaps our Ear Band was cut in an unusual way, or perhaps our daughter's head is unusually shaped. However, this product doesn't 100% meet our needs in some way. Soon, I'll experiment with ear plugs of various sizes and brands.
After my son's tubes were removed, I bought him this. We should not get his ears wet, according to the doctor. I didn't want him to miss out on our Christmas beach trip simply because his ears couldn't stand the water. Based on the reviews, I chose the medium size. I'd recommend going up a size, or perhaps my son simply has a large head. Ours didn't come with any of the plugs mentioned by others, but I honestly don't think they're necessary. Since starting to wear his, my son hasn't complained once. It's very snug on his head, and he can wear his Goggles or mask over it. I'll also place an order for him in the next size up. The only annoyance he has is that the velcro rubs against his neck.
These were purchased for my 5-year-old daughter, who has tubes in her ears and is unable to get them wet. Because her ear putty tends to fall out with the movement of the goggles and other such things, I was very excited about this product. I was ecstatic when we first used it. I was overly concerned about her ears. When we were ready to remove the headband, the putty would stick to it, but it did its job. She hasn't used it in about 5 years. The Velcro had become less adhesive six times before, and the headband appeared to shrink. I now need to purchase a second one, despite the fact that we have only had this product for a month.
This is our second set of these amazing ear plugs for kids with chronic ear problems. One is kept at Grandma's house, and the other is kept at our house. For a worry-free day in the sun, pair the bandit with Putty Buddies. These are what we wear to the beach and to the pool. Everywhere we go, people stop to talk to us, and I strongly recommend these products. We've tried other similar ear plugs and have had to replace them on a regular basis because they fall out or don't stay in. Putty Buddies are my favorite because of the vibrant colors and the reusable case that comes with each purchase. So that no one wears someone else's Buddy, my children remember whether they are Sammy Seal or Tommy Turtle. Even if your children don't have ear problems, I recommend purchasing these products as a precaution. We adore them to that extent!.
It was a pleasant surprise for me. This helped keep the water out of my daughter's ears, which she gets a lot of. Water will still get it, but it will be nothing compared to what it was before. It aids in the prevention of swimmer's ear. Easy fit. It's a little snug, so go up a size. It has a comfortable fit and can be worn with goggles.
I had the choice of spending over $50 on custom ear plugs or $15 on the Ear Bandit. It's a perfect match if you get the Putty Buddies to go with it! She'll be one in a few days. Has only had one mishap, which resulted in an ear infection, in 5 years of using it. The only thing I would recommend is getting a smaller size because they do stretch out. My old one was too stretched for her this year, so I had to order a new one. The dr. Last year, I recommended a size medium (my daughter was three years old and in the 90th percentile for height and weight), but I wish I had gone with a small. I'm also a fan of how it looks on her. Very stylish and cute! Even better, she adores it!.
