I'm having a hard time finding wide shoes for my son. I've ordered three pairs so far, and two of them have a factory defect with the shoe laces. Three are visible in one photo, while four are visible in the other. My son has already tried them on and they fit, but I'm a little disappointed that I paid that much for a shoe that has a flaw for a two-year-old.
The top of the shoe's back heal lip is high and made of a stiff material that pushes into the heal.
Thank you, Amazon and New Balance, for sending us a defective shoe! br>br>These New Balance children's shoes are extremely popular with my son. They fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable, and we appreciate the variety of colors available. HOWEVER, did the shoe come with a shorter strap across one foot? This is the second pair we've ordered, so we KNOW it's a manufacturing defect— one shoe is normal, the other is defective? I'm very upset about it, especially since the order took a month to arrive. On the 12th of April, we placed it, and on the 10th of May, we brought it back to life! AND I had already returned the first version I purchased due to its insufficient size. So, after my son had waited two months for these shoes (which he adores and was overjoyed to finally receive), I couldn't bring myself to return or replace the item. br>br>These shoes are fantastic, and I would recommend them to anyone. I just wish we hadn't gotten a defective pair.
She will take them off and throw them, chew on them, and so on, but she will always remove them after we have put them on. We used to wear under armor tennis shoes, but she would bend down and rip them off as soon as I would latch the velcro. She wears these shoes (the new balance) all the time. She has no problem ripping the velcro off and attempting to remove them. These shoes are her absolute favorite. She'll go get them and bring them back so she can wear them. They're also extremely adorable. Excellent shoes for attempting to begin wearing shoes for walking on a more regular basis.
year- daughter, who is twelve years old I got a 1 1/2 WIDE because other Velcro-type shoes don't always fasten the way we want them to, and getting the wide made all the difference in allowing the Velcro to fasten properly. She adores them and claims that they are extremely cozy. I went with the black and purple because they are less likely to show dirt.
Quality is excellent. They were a fantastic deal on Cyber Monday. I am pleased with my daughter's new shoes. I always wash new balance in the machine, and they dry fine. I have a pair of black ones in a similar style for myself, and I adore them.
In Stride Rite, my daughter wears a 6 1/2 extra wide, almost 7 extra wide, and the 7. I almost think if I had gone with an 8 wide they would have been a little too big and uncomfortable to walk in, so I'm happy with the size I chose. She said they were comfortable right away and easy to put on. br>br>Update to add that we are now in a size 8 wide and are very pleased with these shoes. We will continue to purchase more as she grows.
Shoes with a very tight fit. In terms of length, they are also smaller than expected. Only the tip of the velcro strap can fasten, my 2. I ordered half a size larger than her current shoes, and they're smaller than all of the different brands we have. When I tried to put these shoes on my 5-year-old, she screamed. Due to the price and the fact that they're so darn cute, they're disappointing to say the least, but my kids destroyed the box they came in, so that's the end of it.
